Blimey , you don,t sell cars as well do you...? I think probably the guy does not at the last minute want to sell a car he is familiar with , and drive into Russia with an unfamiliar left hand drive car....As long as the guy is an experianced driver he should manage ok with a rhd car....I drove all over Russia . Latvia . Lithuania , Belarus , and Ukraine with a rhd car , and have driven one in Poland for five years....If you are a reasonably competant driver its possible to drive a car whatever side the wheel is on , and on either side of the road...just exercise a little more care....i suppose you are aware you will need a visa as well as all the other documents...?

Wow , thanks for that , getting a dog in Poland would avoid all the problems of paperwork to bring the dog into the country , and posible quarantine... My lady had one of these dogs but he sadly died of old age , so she would very much like another one...I need someone to take care of her when i am not at home...The only breeder we knew of was in Moscow..

The Kangal dog looks very interesting , i bet you would not get too many intruders with one of those in the house..?

Welcome to the capitalist world....One of the things that attracted me to Poland was the values that they have , that my country . the UK has lost long ago....But , Poland is changing , slowly but surely into what people think is a better place...

There are some things in Poland that are awfull , and need to change , but there are many qualities that i hope Poland does not lose...

Sadly , i think Poland will one day be just like the UK is now , but i will be long dead by then..

That depends on you...some people make it here...some dont...If you get good support from your boyfriend and his family there is no reason why you can,t make a good life here....You are only young , you can do anything , try it for a few months , but don,t burn too many bridges in case it does not work out....

I have twenty friends in Krakow who own appartments , all of them have had it confirmed that their properties are now worth 35% more than when they bought them...Several others have had their flats double in value...Two people living in the center have recently sold their flats for treble what they paid for it...Seems like its boom time in Krakow,,!

No , its not at all easy to own a handgun in Poland , not legally anyway , you would need to be a member of a recognised gun club , or prove a dam good reason for having one...

I myself used to own several guns back in my home country the UK , untill some nutter went and shot some kids with a gun , and got them all banned there....

I believe in the freedom for responsible gun ownership , but you can,t argue with the figures...In Poland where guns are rare there are very few gun deaths , in the USA where guns are common there are hundreds of deaths every year....

If it makes you feel any better , i have lived in Poland for five years , i have not felt in need of a gun yet..

I am quite happy to ignore him....but sadly the thread will continue , unless everyone else ignores him also.... We already have a thread on the price of Warsaw appartments , no doubt fed by the same nutter , can the mods not merge it all into one boring thread called guess how much my house is worth... We could also have a thread dedicated to how much my car is worth , and how much newer it is than my neighbours , that should get the same bunch of people interested...

If people are really interested in such dullness they have a right to chat about it , but it seems that people are prepared to discuss this with somebody who clearly has no idea about the subject....Somebody who clearly has a mental problem wants us all to believe that the property market is going to crash , so , ok its gonna crash , can they now shut the fcuk up...?

Yeah i heard those too....but having travelled on a Polish train to Gdansk i am convinced they are just that...stories...My friends daughter travels alone on this train quite often , she is only 15 , she seems to have survived ok...

I am sure there will be a bus on this route , but probably not too many , probably non at night...no doubt some local Wroclaw resident on the forum will know better than me....

I see on my map that there is not a rail line direct to Lubin...but there is a rail line from Wroclaw to a town called Scinawa , which is 17 kms from Lubin...maybe there would be a bus from there , or maybe its close enough for your friend to pick you up...I am afraid i have no idea what the cost of a train would be.... There is a station only a few kms north of the airport where you can get a train to Lubin...

Thats a great website , looks like i can get free treatment if i go back to the UK , but at the moment i am thinking of having it done in Polska... If i went back to the UK i could be several weeks getting the appointments etc , and i don,t want to be away from my farm for too long... With the cost of flitting back and forth , it might well be cheaper to get it it done in Polska...
