UK, Ireland / English people attitude towards Poles? [761]

Either drink or mental health, but either way, not good.

neither of them.it's just very healthy attitude. Why say something that isn't true but is politically correct?pakis are just pakis. We have exactly the same problems with most of the drity chechenians who came here just after the war with russia. Most of them(if not all)live here in ghettos(created by them) and are responsible for theft, drugs and people trafficiking.Muslims will never adapt to our way of living.

UK, Ireland / Sad life of a Polish migrant in UK. Ch. 3 - Food [93]

Whilst im at it product lebelling. Ive bought the same product (Nan Active baby formula) but in different sizes the formula has different mixing levels on the packaging and this is for babies. What the FOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOK??

Unfortunately, mostly, it happens in Tesco...nomen omen an english company. It is sad that the same company has diffrent standards for diffrent countries-very english.

Pole in "English Food Is Crap - Polish Food Is Better" shocker

This is very true. Most of your food is erm,how can put that..tasteless(pies,yorkshire pudding, cooked vegetables).I remember a comparishion made by "the sun" of food in England and France. That was after France's presiden said;“The only thing they [the British] have done for European agriculture is mad cow”. He made a further attack on British cooking, saying: “You can’t trust people who cook as badly as that.”..accordind to "the sun" english food was better than the french one buhhhahahaha-that made my day.

I is very sad that you, english guys can't stand any criticism but still.love moaning about others. That's so english....

News / Poland..wake up to a multicultural world [1059]

those Hard working Chinese and African guys..

chinese?yes but africans?lol i worked with 4 africans and believe me they were the most lazy people i've ever met.think of somalians coming to poland in their thousands. Most of the western countries have a lot of problems with them.Poland don't need any immigrants apart from those that we already have(chinese, vietnamiese, ukrainians ect and those who came here to study or work)

How about the fact the the above mentioned countries like Germany, France and UK have all suffered race related riots - as already stated several times, Poland did not colonise any other 3rd world countries, the only reason that France and the UK have such high immigration is because we colonised and have a "guilt" (or at least previous governments did), if we had to chose we would not want them here, where you get these stupid ideas that we love multiculturalism is beyond me!

at last somone who says how it is...

Genealogy / Do I look Polish? (Part II -- Much more detail than other topic) [109]

you don't look like a typical pole but, still,I wouldn't be surprised if you said "cześć" to me.
There is a certain type of "Polish face".When living in the uk i used to guess who was who by the look of one's face.I could recognize 99.9% of the Poles i saw on the streets.we look a bit different.

UK, Ireland / Rise in race crimes linked to attacks on Poles [50]

A GROWING number of attacks on Polish bar workers is being blamed for race hate crimes rising to record levels in Edinburgh.
Police are now dealing with an average of three racist incidents every day after another increase in complaints of abuse and attacks. Bar staff and doormen from eastern Europe are now among the most common victims.

news.scotsman.com/tacklingracisminscotland/Rise-in-race-crimes-linked.3299508.jp

no surprise there.it is always better to blame white poles for the crisis than other, dark skinned immigrants(this could make you a racist!) or yourself.very typical for this region of europe.

News / The past and future of Poland. Poland is lost. [113]

Poland is lost. I lived in Poland when Poland was a nice country to visit

don't forget that this is just your opinion.ask majority of poles and they will all say that they prefer this situation not the old commie times.these were for losers only.

Poland was a great place to visit, to live.

of course it was when 1dollar could buy 4.5 zlotych.you could pay peanuts for everything and an average american guy coul feel like prince of persia here.

I feel sorry for Poles

there is no need to feel sorry. we are exited to be in europe again.we always belonged there.

are arrogant and stupid

that's why you lived there for 6 years dude?do you know who is on top of the list as most arrogant and stupid people?answer yourself.that should be easy.how did it go?"i don't know the diffrence between irak and iran..."

Not the young Poles, the real Poles

do you want to say that young poles are not real?i know what type of man you are.you are one of these old gits who love going to some poorer countries to feel better about yourself.when such country get richer and people stop feeling sorry for existing you move away to shine somwhere else.

Your professors who earned 1100 PLN a month. Your

this is a big crap.my professor earned 3500zlo in the 90ties plus grants ect.he was well off.he visited lots of countries including chile, china, kazakstan and many many more without paying a penny for it.stop spreading sh.it.1100 zlotych a month-that was for the beginner who wanted to carry on studing after masters degree.not a lot but ok in the 90ties

The ones who are now too old to adjust

don't worry.my father in law is in his late 50ties and said that there were never better times in his whole life.he is skilled craftman and 20 years ago he worked for "fags and booze" now he earn more than his wages in his regular job just for a few hours afternoon work now and again.

History / massacres of poles in volhynia 1943 [67]

a few words about those who commited these crimes.it looks like UPA was similar to the german's SS but more sadistic
vikipedia says:
Brutal methods such as beheadings, disemboweling, and killing with knives and axes were employed against Polish villagers. In addition to the UPA, Ukrainian peasants also participated in the violence [11], and large groups of armed "bandit" marauders unaffiliated with UPA brutalized civilians. [62] so the exact number of Poles killed specifically by UPA is unknown. The UPA also killed ethnic Ukrainians who did not cooperate with them, as well as those Ukrainians who had intermarried with Poles. In anti-Polish actions from autumn 1943 in Galicia, the UPA conducted cooperative actions with detachments of regiments of the Galician Division [11]. The estimates of the number of Poles murdered in Ukraine range from 100,000 to 500,000; [63] many more Poles left the area because of the UPA actions.

History / massacres of poles in volhynia 1943 [67]

you are right. the massacre was just the outcome of our mistakes and terrible mistreatment of the ordinary ukrainians by the magnats(polish upper class ) and the polish kings.they have never regarded the ukrainians as partners or even rightful citizens of rzeczposolita.this has been going on for centuries and the poles have never fully apologized for it.however, the latest events(orange revolution ect) has shown that the old wounds have healed and there is quite strong bond between the 2two nations.durind my travel to the krym peninsula i met and talked to many ukrainians and never felt any hostility towards me.lots of ukrainians work, trade and study in poland and, generaly, they are accepted by majority of the

poles.

do you know this part of the polish history?
unique relationship between poles and ukrainians now is something that both sides would never dream of 60 years ago.the victims were on BOTH sides of this unnecessary violence...
