Recently I had been casually dating a very nice Polish guy. The only problem is he was getting very serious, much too quickly.

After just a few dates he had already told me the L word. In a sense I was flattered. At the same time it made me run in the opposite direction. I like taking my time when entering a new relationship.

He's always had long-term relationships. Perhaps he doesn't like to be alone. I suppose he feels he must be in a serious relationship at all times.

Yes, it's not too far. It's located next to the town of Yucaipa. I like the apple orchards & antique shops. There's also a good restaurant called Apple Dumpling. You should try it.
