UK, Ireland / Polish girls 'too pretty' for British schools [150]

In my home town there are lots of fights in the night clubs over polish girls. I've seen a lot of people getting seriously hurt. I've been in many arguments myself over Polish girls and no I didn't start them, it's just that my fellow drunk English men turn into zombies when they see a Polish girl.

People are taking this Polish girl thing too seriously now. Yes they are good looking but is it really worth all this?

The real problem is, even with this immigration wave there just isn't enough to go round.

News / A friend murdered in Poland; what the Polish police can do? [69]

Thats the same in any country including england. If you live in a poor area and your house is massive with a mercedes parked outside, the poor people WILL rob you.

I've noticed that people in Poznan are a lot richer than those who live out in the countryside

I despise all drugs they are a waste of money.

Life / Polish Gift ideas and gift suppliers for a shop customers [8]

My girlfriend wants to include a Polish section in her gift shop as she has quite a few Polish customers already.

What sort of gifts are Polish themed, are there any special gifts given out in poland, i.e. a popular brand of chocolate or maybe something traditional or related to Poland itself?

It would be great if anybody could put me in touch with suppliers of any Polish themed merchandise.

UK, Ireland / English people attitude towards Poles? [761]

This is my personal opinion of Polish immigration and the effects its had on my life.

My girlfriend owns a gift shop and a 3rd of her customers are Polish. Our sales have gone up and we plan to launch a dedicated range of Polish products in the future. We now have a Polish girl running the shop. We both emigrated to Spain and the shop is now managed 100% by our Polish worker.

I also own a building company and promoted my top worker (a lithuanian guy) and he now runs the business, he does the accounts, deals with customers etc. We also now have 10 builders on the books and 6 of them are Polish.

This has had a huge impact on our lives because it means at 27 and 28 we no longer have to do any work at all. I know I will end up working again though, I'm already feeling the urge to do something, I've thought of a new business which I want to setup in Poland.

My friend, who runs a corner shop has also noticed an increase in demand for Polish products, he also reports an increase in profits due to Poles coming into his shop and buying Polish products. He has made friends with local Polish people and describes them as highly articulate and disciplined.

To sum this up, my own personal attitude towards Poles is very positive, they've helped make my life better. Why some of you are being so anti Polish is beyond me. Being English are we not ourselfs natural explorers / migrants, you can't honestly say you don't get the urge to leave England and explore? it's in our blood.

That's the English way. As long as we can keep migrating to our villas in the sun no one should care about who's coming to England.

UK, Ireland / How do people perceive Poland in the UK? [28]

Jokes about her being poor and just wanting a English guy for marriage and a visa etc blah blah.

did you really get people saying that about your girlfriend?!

I think the only time anybodies ever said anything like that is on another forum I go on, but that is generally full of single nerds who are more jelous than anything.

Love / Why english men like polish women ? [126]

can an english black person have a strong relationship with a white polish girl ?

There's no such thing as an English black person, English means Anglo saxons who are white.

A black person in england is called black british.

Love / Why english men like polish women ? [126]

english does not mean anglo saxons. anglo saxons means anglo saxons

english is a person born in england.

I think you need to check your history books. English was the official name given to the anglo saxons, the britons were not banished they populated wales and are now known as the welsh.

Most people i know refer to themselfs as black british, african or british-african. I've not heard the term black english but if you want to call yourself that, that's entirely your choice, as long as you drink lots of tea and complain about the weather a lot of course :-D

UK, Ireland / Polish girls 'too pretty' for British schools [150]

So if instead of polish were for example indian girls would the british boys engage into renewal?

No, English and Indian cultures have always remained racially segregated I think it's mainly to do with religion plus the fact that many things in English culture are forbidden by Asians. Ultimally indian / pakistani women only date Asian men because of this. They are also not allowed near non muslims or other men anyway.

I once had an Asian girlfriend and we both suffered a lot of racism from Asian people. After having fights with a few of them over nothing I eventually gave up, we decided to end it due to unforseen cultural differences.

To put it blunt, Asians in England are racist and there women are severely oppressed.

News / EU or America - which country is better to work now? [56]

I guess it depends on what your looking for in life. I'ts really easy to start up a business here in the US....especially an IT solutions consulting business. Is there really all of this opportunity in the UK? It IS a rather small Island and I don't see many Poles going to other countries in the EU.

I would say yes to the UK, it's easy to start a business in the UK if you're under 30. You could even get a business grant from the government if you became a citizen.

Our economy is strong and if you do decide to become a citizen there are many options available that you wouldn't get in America.

The average UK earnings when compared to America are over 3 times more. That means you can earn 3 times as much here in the UK. The Pound is also worth almost twice as much as the Dollar and 5.6 times as much as the Polish Zloty. That makes for huge profits when going back home to Poland!

Real Estate / Don't buy a house in Poland if you are British!!! Corruption!!! [67]

That's why some british people are now buying houses in Poland, as an investment so as to raise capital for future investments in England.

Basically the only way for some of us English people to buy property in our own country is to exploit lesser economies such as Poland.

But Poland knew all this when it joined the EU but it still wanted to join.

Life / Will Poland become like the UK ? [93]

Two weeks ago i was in Warsaw and i saw so many foreigners selling goods. I was at the bus station and it look terrible i just see rubbish and plastic all over which the foreigners leave lying all over . All this mess and hawkers and homeless people are foreigners . I also see many foreigners up to no good i recon they are scamming on Poles because the Polish arnt so keyed up on Internet scams and fraud. I wont mention nationalities which i saw however i know when i see scammers believe me, the Goverment must act now and stop foreigners living in Poland because it will become like the UK. The Goverment is to relaxed and letting Poland going down the wrong road , i think he must take a walk in Warsaw and at the bus station !

Although many like to consider the UK a multicultural country, I know of certain parts of England that are inhabited by mostly English people and thus practice English culture and way of life.

Lots of English Londoners have been migrating eastwards to theese destinations ever since the 1960's to escape "multiculturalism". Ethnic minorities have never really followed so even today everything remains English.

I still visit theese places frequently. I've taken a few of my Polish friends to places like Norfolk and they are truely shocked at how different it is from London. No crime, no tension, no muslims, just friendly english people all sharing the same culture, values and way of life.

I remember one of my Polish mates, he was living for a year in London and he hated it, he said England was nothing like he'd read in books.

So I took him East to show him the real England and he said; "now this is what I came to the UK to see and experience, real english culture and people". The next week he packed his bags left london and moved to a small English coastal village called Cromer.

He's been there ever since and is now married to an English girl. I spoke to him 2 months ago and he was getting elecution lessons so that he could loose his Polishness and get a proper English accent.
