News / Dealing with constant insults against Polish [323]

They considered me an "outsider". His family could never accept me or my traditions. Everything had to be "their way" . Currently, my spouse has since filed for divorce. We were just two very different people

Fucck them right in the ear! I have been there and I'm also glad this chapter of my life is now closed. Good luck with your Polish lessons!

Travel / Thinking about having a roadtrip in Poland... [41]

on't worry about that, we are stopping off to see her rather than her traveling with us... I think? or am I incorrect JB?

I actually thought of travelling! But I guess you don't want me there. Why a new car? Is old one to small so there's no room for me :(

Language / WHY NA WĘGRZECH ET AL? [6]

It is an interesting question, aparently it only depends on tradition in Polish language usage and there is no particular rule. Countries that go along with a preposition "na" are: Słowacja, Węgry, Ukraina, Białoruś, Litwa, £otwa and some island countries (like Kuba - but not Australia).

w Węgrzech, w Ukrainie, w Litwie, w Białorusi - hard to say and sound wierd :P

It is not hard to say at all and only seems weird to you because you naturally got used to forms with "na".

Language / words overused in Polish language [40]

Straszny.

Yes, this an adjective that means scary. We often overuse it and also an adverb strasznie when want to say very.

Strasznie sie martwiłam = I was very worried.

Language / PARANOJA -- MISUSED IN POLISH? [20]

welshguy you apparently didnt get the list of rules....

I don't understand what is your problem. I often find it hard to understand retards anyway. I clearly disagreed with what welshguyinpola said, that has nothing to do with defending Poles. You obviously don't know much about this forum, do you? It's full of people who actually hate Poland but apparently you have only been here since yesterday so who am I talking to? Anyway, I can't be bothered with a conversation with you at the moment, let me know where you are in 10 years time.

Language / PARANOJA -- MISUSED IN POLISH? [20]

If Poland is so faultless why dont u move back here and why did you ever leave in the first place.

That's such a stupid thing to say. People emigrated, emigrate and will emigrate. There is a never-ending number of reasons. Many of emigrants miss their countries, this is natural, yet they are not ready or able to go back.

why did you leave Poland and why wont you return.

I don't think that's any of your business. Also, I highly doubt anyone cares why you moved to Poland, or maybe Pola as that's what your nickname says.

Ignore them

Why? I like them. I like them so much I would lick them in the teeth - but that would improve their looks.

NeinNein

Let your frustration go out, we shall help. Please, don't feel bad about yourself - a lot of people are retarded like you.

If a schizophrenic threatens to commit suicide, is it considered a hostage situation?

No, sorry, there's more than just one person who hates you Slavs.

Yes you are both men of the world - and you know what sad shape this world is in. I don't know what makes you come across that stupid but whatever it is - it works.

Love / Need advice with Polish girl, I like her but she has a boyfriend. [114]

and 12 months into your relationship you find she's been banging the local milkman and is going to leave you, imagine how you would feel just for one second.

And they all have AIDS by now. It's sad Torny but as you can clearly see people will call you immature while you are actually faithtful and failing to understand how easily it comes for others to cheat.

Study / Aviation for non-Polish in Poland [11]

What are my chances of pursuing aviation hobby in Poland as non-Polish speaker?

I don't think that the language you speak matters, there are plenty of aeroclubs in Poland. That's the one based in Wroclaw area:

Aeroclub "Dolnośląski"
Mirosławice Airport
55-050 Sobótka 1

An office:
ul. Kiełczowska 43
51-315 Wrocław
tel./fax (0-71) 390 91 40

Love / Do Polish guys think getting physically violent with a woman is OK? [40]

thats not clever, that is gutless and cowardly, how dare somebody end a relationship that way. It shows total disrespect to the partner, if he had any feelings for you at all then he should at least have the balls to confront you in person if he is going to tell you your breaking up.

I was being sacrastic Torny!

Love / Do Polish guys think getting physically violent with a woman is OK? [40]

I saw my friend fighting with her boyfriend while breaking up. He left her for somebody else and she started punching him, he punched her back. I wish I did that to my ex but he was smart enough to end this on the internet. Polish guys are usually sweet and gentlemen though!

Love / Need help figuring out a polish guy [55]

Well I've never had any problems and I'm not quite Pierce Brosnan lol

You're Czech. She talks about Polish men.

Could it be because Polki are loose?

You're loose after all this gay jiggy jiggy you had and nobody wants you. Could it be because you're ugly?

Life / YOUNG POLES PREFER CELEBS TO AUTHORITIES? [11]

It's better to see authority in Jurek Owsiak who has actually done something for other people than Sheryl Cole or Jamie Oliver who are "stars" in the UK.
