News / Poland over the next 10 years? [79]

all you have to do is to develop wery strong knowledge/consulting/information industry and provide high cost services to other countries.

I think Kamyk is right. Nowadays the real power and strenght of a modern country is based on the development of know-how not on economy of natural resources .....

News / Poland over the next 10 years? [79]

Poland is a new kid on the block and has to learn a lot, but I would not be that pessimistic. I twill have its turn, some day.
However, as long as the government will not provide good paying jobs for the young and educated, they will go to UK or other countries to build their power.
Only, to bashed for it by the host.

the situation Eurola is talking about is described as "brain drain". Indeed thats not very wise policy for a country that want to improve the general situation. One of my tutors said to me once ... you see we are pulling the gun to our head .... we carry the cost of education for a young people and when they are well educated we force them to go abroad to search for any chance.... The foreign countries for sure are very grateful for such a present .... a high -skilled people for free. Poland must be recognized as very good uncle that invest money in development of other countries .... dont you think ...

News / Poland over the next 10 years? [79]

On the other hand, if you are going to re-locate for work. It makes no difference if it is the other side of Poland or the UK.

it does make a difference Wroclaw "where". First of all being able to relocate in order to find employment is a very positive factor and lets be honest polish people still try to get this skill. More successful day by day but still in the middle of learning process.

But the point is to be able to relocate between the borders of your homeland....

Life / What is your favorite Polish Music Group or Artist? [41]

I personally would send a smile to Kayah ... I like her maybe more from the old records but I think she has a great voice and such a image :)

There were some good songs performed by Anita Lipnicka, and of course old DZEM with Ryszard Riedel :) there are some good polish jazz-rock sessions musicans like Waldemar Lewandowski, Marek Surzyn or Jerzy Antoszkiewicz -who ever been on "Zlota Tarka " festival knows what I am talking about :)

I remember also about Leszek Mozdzer - but in that case I have quite mixed feelings.
And there is plenty of good names nobody mention yet :)

Real Estate / Advise on payment for a person who supervises an apartment in Poland? [19]

You are not paying someone to do much work. You are paying them to keep them in your employ.

yes and no .... since the common knowledge is that time is most expensive....

anyway the idea is great and worth of the suggested "investment". That would be good if from time to time they could leave the lights open or I dont know turn on TV set with timer... just the make the place looks alive...

if someone living next door 100 is resonable.

Love / My Story with a polish girl [11]

Hey Manga,

As all other of us Im sorry to hear your story. But there is something more that just a sadness after losing someone you love, in your post.

For me there is some kind of peace that you have achieved. You are in touch again what means that both of you have accepted what happened or at least learnt how to deal with it.

Was it love by the way my friend?...

LoneStranger there is no use to ponder if it was love or not now. That story or relationship between those two people has been finished and digging into it will not bring any good. What is the aim or analyzing something what cannot be changed.

Let Manga to keep the best memories from that big chunk of time. 8 years its a plenty of time...
They spent it together living in a happy relationship.

Now she left you like a robot?...nothing went ahead in between?

Nobody leaves like a robot. Its not a decision you make over one day. Sometimes we are so deep in living "the dream" that we do not allow ourself to see the reality. You let your senses to fall asleep because its easier to dream. But thats not a point either.

Back to Manga. Dont worry man, you will be just fine. As other people say the love will come to you one more time. You learnt a lot from your last relationship - thats your chance to be really happy in your future.

I wish I could be so spunky and strong as you are.

So people, polish woman are the best in world they are hard to get but when you have love from one it is like a dream... just keep care because if you lost it maybe you will not come over it. Be allways good to your Polish girl and show her always that you love her much even after 10 years, trust me buy flowers or something and tell her that you still love her much

My respect to you for looking ahead. Big hug :)
