How do you say "give me a kiss" in Polish

LouJen   7 Nov 2006 /  #1
My Baci used to say it to me when I was a child.
She has passed on. I can't remember how to
say it. Please help.
Thank you so much

Loujen

give me a kiss = "daj buzi" / "daj całusa" / "pocałuj mnie"
Kaycie   3 Dec 2006 /  #3
those all mean give me a kiss?
dziadek 3 | 64   3 Dec 2006 /  #4
"pocałuj mnie"- "kiss me"
pat   26 Dec 2006 /  #5
Pocałuj mnie, daj buziaka, daj buzi.
All above mean give me a kiss or just kiss me.

All options are good:

daj buzi
daj buziaczka
pocałuj mnie
pocałuj
cmoknij mnie w policzek
daj cmoka
buziaczek?

And so on....

krysia 23 | 3,067   22 Mar 2007 /  #20

sapphire 22 | 1,245   23 Mar 2007 /  #23
pocaluj mnie dupa :)
muzyka   23 Mar 2007 /  #24
I think that should read "pocaluj mnie w dupe"
sapphire 22 | 1,245   23 Mar 2007 /  #25
sorry my Polish is crap (no pun intended)
clunkshift 2 | 82   23 Mar 2007 /  #26
pocaluj mnie dupa?

Forgive my poor understanding of Polish, but are you implying that this is a nice invitation rather than an insult?

I'm sure a direct translation to English or US English would invite a punch on the nose.
sapphire 22 | 1,245   23 Mar 2007 /  #27
well it depends how you say it and who to I think.. can be quite affectionate cant it? but I agree, best not said to a stranger... pogue mahone.
szkotja2007 27 | 1,510   23 Mar 2007 /  #28
pogue mahone.

Or alternatively -
"Na pòg mo thòin"
Do not kiss my @rse.
Not that the spelling is important - its the thought that counts !

I suppose "dupa" can always be substituted for something else.
sapphire 22 | 1,245   23 Mar 2007 /  #29
I suppose "dupa" can always be substituted for something else

well I like to substitute it for cipka myself.
ella - | 46   23 Mar 2007 /  #30
pocaluj mnie dupa

be careful with this :)

"pocaluj mnie dupo" (not dupa) = kiss me ,you looser (or arshole)

"pocaluj mnie w dupe" = " kiss me in the ass" and suggest:
"leave me alone"
