Language / Translations of Gadu-Gadu [158]

there's one thing in gg that people seem to like, which doesn't exist in msn, that is you can start a conversation to someone who's not in your friends list, anyone who's logged in at the moment. it also means that anyone can start talking to you at any moment you're logged in. happens to me awfully often.

The minus side to that though is if yu wish to block someone all they have to do is switch user and they can see you are still online.:(

Life / Polish people living in Poland, How do you see your future? [37]

Yeah, but many only WORK in other countries. They still live in Poland,

That brings a whole new meaning to the word commuter. Forget a trip down the M4 they get on the next lifght from Warsaw to London every day. Lucky ******* imagine all the frequent flier points they will be getting.

Work / American girl in Limanowa teaching English for summer [18]

Zakopane and Krakow are must sees. Zakopane is a mountain town and Krakow is probably the most beautifull city in the whole of Poland. I went in the winter when it was about minus 15 and it didnt take anything away from the beauty. Juts imagine how it will look in 38 degrees of heat. Damn I wish I didnt live so far from there I want to go!!

Youre teaching in July, August? The school Im teaching closes for summer so i guess youre at a summer school?

Law / American beer business opportunities in Poland [84]

A

Now now...let's not talk about anything you don't know enough about

that was refering to Budwieser.

yes you're fool ... making statements like you do...this can only be a fool...Don't speak for English people because I've met many of them and you're nothing like them...you're just an frustrated little "boy" trying to get a woman (or probably even a guy) in a different country since you were obviously constantly rejected in England...

FFS stop coming on here with different names and slagging Polish people off. That was your idea earlier. The girl dumped you we already found this out so just get over it:)

There post was removed for the reasons you mention, breaking forum rules

You see another problem this policing causes Admin is that when I reply to someone elses post that is off topic in the thread and reply with something that is on topic It looks like i was in fact having a go at someone else involved in that thread. Check out the american bear thread and see what Sledz thought about my replies

I think the strain of it all is getting to you daffy. Please dont burst a vessel and just take it as it was. A question. As a moderator you must learn to be more patient.

Good point with the emoticons bubba. This is a perfect example of how they reduced the chance of things being taken the wrong way and they were here to help people like daffy understand things more.

At the end of the day I think bubbas point is a very valid one. In life conversations are started and they eventually drift into another topic. Admin recently you appear to have developed a fetish for policing and this seems to have been copied by Daffy. Why cant you just relax a little. Nobody asked for the policing, Idiom- If it aint broke dont fix it.

Just give it a go also please stop picking on Espana(I would insert a smily here but they have been blasted into space).

Law / American beer business opportunities in Poland [84]

Its a fact Budweiser sucks. Im English and when we see it in a pub in UK we laugh, and we are the people that makes Carling!!!!! (Another pure filth) I dont see Sledz saying that everything in Poland is the best however when he is talking about their beer being better than that filth Budwieser he is correct. My dog could pi-ss a stronger tipple than that. As to the importance of Polish people fu-ck u

The fact that they imigrate to other countries mostly due to the position of thier economy has nothing to do with how much better their beer is to that American filth.

Why the hell shouldnt they immigrate to other countries? English people have been doing it for ages, France, Spain and now Poland. The south of spain has been turned into a little version of England. If we will do it to countries why shouldnt they come to us. Aslo if you are American, you just remember whose language you speak, then remember the importance of yourself.

Sorry to any nice Americans on this Forum I have nothing against you or your country just this fool is, well a fool

News / A friend murdered in Poland; what the Polish police can do? [69]

Kranzler people get murdered in every country. Its a fact of life, there is no reason for you to be more worried in Poland than you are in your own country. Im a foreigner in Poland and havent experienced any problems because of it. I think this would be fair to say its a pretty rare event.

News / I need Kaczynski's Email Address! [84]

course you wouldnt know everything about me now would you

No and believe me i dont want to:)

mr wanker

Well this isnt the thread to talk about how i choose to exercise:)

as for Ronald not showing up, well look at whos birthday it was

I resent the implication that Ronald discriminates against certain people. He is a lovely man and i think you could take a leaf out of his book. Sepaking of which i think you should take one from Witek's and do something about this problem you have thought up(sorry found) and stop writing emails to someone who obviously isnt going to read it.

Peace out ya'all Im Flying out to manchester for the game against Ac milan. Cant wait!! Dont even support them but hope they win !!!

News / I need Kaczynski's Email Address! [84]

how can you say that? actually me and my family were inspirational in raising money through bingos for MEDICAL EQUIPMENT TO POLAND

Well done Witek. Good to see someone actually getting up from their computer seat to do something about problems. Well done. In the time that it has taken to post these messages in here you could have wrote to Blair and Bush patrycja. Not to mention to Ronald Mcdonald and ask him where he was on my 10th birthday party.

Life / Getting new passport for stolen/captured passport [9]

You dont need to call the Police. If the passport really is safely in the hands of the family then there is no problem about getting it replaced, just tell the authorities it is lost. Its very very easy to replace and im sure she knows where she can get it done. Good luck

Life / Getting new passport for stolen/captured passport [9]

All she needs to do is a get a form for a replacement passport and say that she has lost hers. I had to do it with my British passport in POland and wasnt too much problem. Im not sure where she should go but she will know

Work / Living In Torun, have no TEFL or CELTA; help me Im getting desperate [26]

Hi, my name is Michelle. I left England to be with my boyfriend and have been living here in Torun for just over a month. I know the feeling of not having a job and im going crazzzzyyy!! I also don't have any teaching qualifications and would like to give this teaching a go. So you're not the only Brit; i miss little things about England, but I know that it wouldn't be easy to leave Torun. Glad it's working out for you. If you know of any contacts in this field, I would really appreciate any help or advice. Thanks.

Well with no Teaching qualifications the best way for you to go is the Callan method. Most schools will take you without a course , so it is possible to get a job quickly sometimes. My school is full at the moment but the other native speaker is leaving in July so I will mention it to her. In the meantime I will email you a list of schools that teach Callan in Poland:)

Language / Example differences between Polish and English [30]

Life / The World of Polish Soap Operas [14]

I actually do because it has English subtitles. I made the mistake of confessing this to my students. It lead to a lot of laughter:) I enjoy the program though Especially Kinga :) :)
