There are four varieties of snakes in Poland..The first three are harmless.. But the Viper is venomous.. But few people die from the bite.

Growing up, I watched my Mom make pierogi with plums..I remember her buying Damson plums or Italian plums..The finished product came out with a purple tint.. But I was told that there was another Polish Plum used... Anybody have any knowledge of this?

In Russia they are called VARENIKI..They are the same as Polish and Ukranian.
I just cant understand why people dont make their own.. There plenty recipes on the web.
