USA, Canada / Polish Dog Trainer from Chicago area / Dog Lessons [37]

Related: English lessons for 'Polish' dog

And I thought Polish was supposed to be a difficult language! ;-) That's the most barking mad thing I've ever read!

A dog caused confusion in an animal home when he failed to respond to basic commands - until staff realised he could only understand Polish.

I just read about this dog on another website; he has found a new home already (with a Polish family living in England) :)

English lessons for a 'Polish' dog!

Interesting story .... lemondrop.co.uk/2010/01/14/staff-teach-polish-dog-english/
not sure if this thread is in the correct place, but I'm sure the mods will move it to the most appropriate one if it isn't :o)

Genealogy / Binkowicz family [8]

Nadarzyn is interesting as a place where Polish resistance fighters hid after the Warsaw uprising in 1943. The Battalion Zoska (Polish) and the AL Brigade (Jewish inmates rescued from the Gesiowka concentration camp by Zozka) continued to fight together against SS units. Few survived.

You are confusing 43 ghetto uprising with 44 uprising.

Mabyee its a surname there are "used" by christian and jewish poles?

Most of "Jewish" surnames I've seen are in fact Polish, German or Russian.

Binkowicz seems to be a polish jewish surname.

I don't think so. Seems to be... very normal.

Genealogy / Croats (Serbians) are Polish origin? [53]

The constant guilt trip is the biggest problem.

Guilt ? Germany started the worst war in the history, so historically any guilt would be well deserved , on individual level I didn't notice any.

Strange laws passed that make no sense. The lack of freedom of speech.

Most of people there don't have anything against these laws, so that's not your business.

But yet nobody is laying guilt trips when europes bread basket was robbed of 7 million.

You mean Ukraine ? That's correct, but doesn't make Adolf any better than a little garbage he was.
