Life / Polish Men and Fashion [90]

I wouldn't say poles wearing crap and have lack of style. As far as I know every nation has poor and prosperous people, some nations are richer than another.Question is difficult to answer, some say economic background, turbulent history etc etc.

Love / My Polish girlfriend misses home...how can I help? [17]

Show her that you are really trying to help her, try use some polish sentences like I miss you, I want to be with you in broken polish. If she is really interested with you that should be helpful. If she is not .... You should give up her and trying live without your princess. I know that is hard but this is reality, maybe now you are not a of cap of tea for her any more.

Love / My Polish girlfriend misses home...how can I help? [17]

To be someone superstitious is nothing wrong, maybe I am wrong or something like that but what I am doing now is trying to help him out with solving the problem

All we have to know is reading between woman sentences, thats the answer

News / Polish onet.eu, no comments about ex-communists appear on their forum? [18]

I live in UK exactly Northern Ireland

typical example

UK, Ireland / How to avoid bad tension in workplace Pole in UK/Ireland [18]

Never thought thats happening to me , on daily basis I must deal with constantly ostracism and inteligent slur ( slang words, fast blur talking ) in my workplace. After living over 2 years in anglo speaking country, learning english , reading books, engaging in conversations sometimes I think I am not good enough to give sb good proper riposte so im trying stay calm but my calmness actually give no results or cause bad tension. How long time I have to learn to feel confident and manage converastion when some people trying put me down ( because who I am, what Im representing and so forth )

UK, Ireland / How to avoid bad tension in workplace Pole in UK/Ireland [18]

a friend of mine from Russia came to London about 6 years ago, and since that time, her English has improved very quickly

right, all depends probably what skills you've got and workplace where u have to work ( funny innit :) ). Im sociologist with good grasp of anthropology and social science but ( there is always but ...) without proper english, ( :( ) so my knowledge is useless here.

I work in ordinady place with ordinary people ( what a shame :)?! )
Any clue why I am so disrespectfull for my workmates ( they dont know about my Degree of Master of Art but they see me on lunch time with a thick book, all the time )?

UK, Ireland / How to avoid bad tension in workplace Pole in UK/Ireland [18]

dont go to far with Apprentice :)
focus on working with people where you have to work , sometimes there is no one who is compatibile after couple nights out just because you are diferent and thats it.

Anyway I know that I am in wrong place but because of reality I have to work there because I have to, no choice now.

Anyway bad tension Am I a problem?

It is not simple like you think, they are not a bunch of people like u imagine, they are people with really good skills but they are focus on ONLY ( ONLY ) UK, USA, Germany meaby some on France and Italy and of course Japan but Poland? no way cheap beer, girls, nice shag thats what they want to talk abou. Prague Cracow Budapest ou yeee nice shag and end of story

Your colleagues don't need to be your best buddies for life, but it makes life sweeter if you can have a laugh with them.

UK, Ireland / Life in the UK for some Poles (sad article) [124]

listen you moany fukin bastards if youre trying to tell 10000 polish bints had to have an abortion cos they got raped your avin a fukin bubble

bit like buying a lottery ticket greatly increases your chance of winning the lottery, having sex without contraception greatly increases your chance of getting pregnent... simple... innit?

use protection and watch jeremy kyle and then you wont have to have an abortion

fukin caflicks

this article is not about fuckin bints, its about normal, lonely decent ones, very very confiused many times, in completely strange environments, trying to make ends meet , not fuckin types like on jeremy kyle show

youre a clown, sunshine

when you don't know what to say, saying derogative comments only increase the way, how people percept your behavior and show them who you really are

article is not about a rape, its about abortion and reasons why young women decide to take this step, their motives and social consequences. Your presumption, because of "fukin caflicks", is obviously narrow minded

er... im being derogatory because i think youre a fukwit.

no comments

Simplyfying this complicated case to "cafliks " ethic is so narrow minded. Are you seriously think the problem we are face in this case is religious nature?

Obviously you have some religious issues, I'm talking about completely different perspective. Using religious excuses only stir discusion, of course in a wrong way.

UK, Ireland / Poles and Poles in the UK = animosity [42]

I would like to come up with a question witch is related to every nation but I am particularly interested in the context of the Poles living outside its own country.

To make a long story short I have to deal with violence threat from - surprising ( sic ! ) not local population but polish neighbours. I use to live on my own, but because of that I had to move to place more crowded with students. My area is populated mostly by students and immigrants/migrants, there are some Chinese, Spanish university students, southern Irish professionals and of course Poles. Only last ones are full representation of the whole country population, so we have here students, office workers, builders etc. There is animosity between them; some bald heads, golden chain chav types trying make our living plain hell. I have a pleasure to pop up on some of them and they were very nasty, they told me they know where I live, they even told me "don't show up in the city because we will find you". Local police seems to don't know how to handle that kind of problems; there are no witnesses of this kind of threatening. Since some of them live close to me, my car got couple nice scratches, broken mirrors etc. but this is no big deal for me, rather I am worry about to be mugged some day, by who? My natives!!! Shame

So please remember folks, Pole can be hostile to another Pole and that the spice of reality when you live in another country. Bye
