funny you're all putting down Jews...the bible until not so long ago was written in Hebrew, funny that isn't it!
And Jewish people come in all shapes and forms, some Orthodox some not...Im guessing half of you who have posted have never even met a jew so I'll forgive the ignorance portrade...so what there are Jews in government...they have a good head for business and usually (obviously not all cases because it would be really stupid of me to say) enjoy very good prosperous lives, even after all they have been through as a people, I was told from a young age Judaism isnt just a religion its a way of life and one that will remain long after we have gone! GET USED TO IT!!

G also Polish claim back quite a bit tax when they leave the country but hey hoe, also the Royal family support themselves, they own quite a bit of land you know :) and they bring quite a bit in re tourism...:) Im not a royalist but I do know my own country and how it works... Torny my best friend is a manager at a large insurance company - she heads a team in the motor claims division - the pecentage of accidents caused by EU members is low in comparison to that of none europeans...standards for passing tests in Europe are far higher than those of 3rd world countries!
Do you think that its time to sit down discuss a way forward and maybe standardise signs - since travel is so much easier these days and more and more people are using their own cars overseas?

there is a yellow triangle missing from the list that means you dont have priority - this is really important for me especially as poland tends not to have the road marking we have in the uk that indicate this... ive driven across intersections a number of times when i should have given way

Most of the accidents I have seen have not involved Europeans - you need to look at 10 pakistanis who operate on one driving licence, slightly harder now since they brought in the photo id cards...but nonetheless they still try it on - at least Pols have driven on proper roads before they came to the UK! Also road signs are practically the same in Poland as they are in the UK...So someone saying that they coudnt read the road signs is quite a poor excuse, it either means they are blind or didnt pass a test in their own country!
The same set of standardized road signs are used all over Europe. These signs are essentially graphic rather than linguistic in nature. As such, their meaning tends to be easy to understand

I agree, this guy offered so much help when she arrived now not even a hello, sorry but friends dont treat friends like that - he has stated that his has a girlfriend and its not a relationship he is after - he genuinely cares about how this girl is behaving - Lets put is this way..
A young English girl lands in Poland no friends not much money and is befriended by a really nice guy who has a girlfriend - he offers her a place to stay some help with the language and finding a job and they become very good friends, he's all most like a big brother to her, the after a month or so she gets on her feet and he is no longer of use to her - but she is happy to still live in his home but wont even make the time to say hello....Not very nice is it to treat someone like that....

As for Walkabout bars, I can only comment on the Walkabouts I've been to over the past three years (Covent Garden, Wimbledon, Islington, Durham, Temple, Putney, Shep Bush, Shaftsbury Ave, Nottingham, Edinburgh and Wigan), and there were Australian staff in all, plus in several there were also Kiwi and South African staff.

Like BW said there are quite a few levels in the Free Masons - I know onr or two people who have been active for many years - for them its part of being an little group who raise an awful lot of money for charity - but they dont make a lot of noise about it - some kind of a co-operative society exists wherein they help each other out....Oh and aparently the dinners are very nice :)
I also met a couple of Norweigen free masons in spain recently - they used a lodge in Fuengirola and were quite happy to explain (highly riviting stuff :( )
