our proposal was to give votes based on square roots of populations (the bigest countries would be the strongest but there would be change in proportions) later we agreed for other solution ...

I hope that was a joke...

I do think BB was right about protesting for protestings sake...how can a person make an informed decision if they dont actually have the information...

Then I would say that your are in a minority because I dont actually know of any guys that have dated black or asian women and thats not a racist thing it's just not the norm.

Im not suggesting anything I am saying that the vast majority of mixed raced children are with white women, I'm sure that I could check out the stats.

I keep hearing on here about how racist Polish people are because inter-racial dating isn't their thing.

Why is it white people are called racists because they prefer not to date people of a different colour or a completely different cultural background, when in fact I know of no black girls who have ever dated or would even consider dating a white guy, I have never seen a black girl with a mixed race baby or indeed seen any asian girls with a white guy or a mixed raced baby. So it's okay for black guys and asian guys to expect European women to date outside their race but women of their race would never consider it because of their culture. Now that to me is a bit one sided to say the least.

We can bring the case of a young black man called Simon Mol who used racism as a tool to encourage young Polish girls to sleep with him without a condom, of course they obliged in order not to appear racist, now they live on borrowed time because he kindly, knowingly gave them HIV which he came to Poland with as a refugee, a country that took him in and even gave him a passport!

An Iranian girl pointed out on forum that Iranian guys have no interest in marrying Polish girls, their sole intention is to have a bit of fun before marrying a nice Iranian girl whose virginity is in tact, the more I hear about how little other cultures actually think of European women the less I think it is a good idea to mix.

I am not suggesting for one minute it's okay to abuse people in the street because of the colour of their skin, because it's not, in a civilised world we should know better than to act like savages.

If you dont like then move! Simple as, just because Polish people dont particularly want a racially mixed country isn't a bad thing, it's their choice... Maybe they look at other Western countries and feel that they don't want the same happening in their country, I dont hear about bombs going off on trains and buses in Poland nor do I hear about minorities complaining about the local butchers shop selling pork...nor do I hear about floods of asylum seekers heading to Poland demanding this and that!

I dont think it is, they are not ignorant they just dont seem to mix, which isn't actually a crime. Look at Zimbabwe blacks kill whites simply because they don't want them there....It's not just a white thang ya know! And it's a bit rude to say Polish people are like redneck Americans living about 50 years ago.

I am quite surprised here, I honestly didn't think that it was popular for kids to drink in Poland, it sounds like Poland is fastly catching up with the West, what a shame, drunken girls = more teenage pregnancies and more STD's and a standard in school work dropping...

I have to say from a female point of view I've always felt very very safe, I think the Police and security presence helps...only visited Poland 3 times but didn't see one fight or even a scuffle for that matter, maybe I was just lucky.

If it is the case that this young girl got pregnant to a 'friend' then why on earth didn't her parents take her over the boarder and pay privately to have it done rather than saying she was raped, what happens if some poor girl in her town gets raped - are the Police and press going to take her serious, or will she just be labelled another whor*.

It's quite clear that there is a problem and Poland needs to realise that their younger society are more sexually aware at a much younger age...how they tackle this will make a huge impact on generations growing up. You dont honestly think teenage pregnancies have always been the norm in the UK do you?

Glasgow West End is very nicee, rent would be about £500 per month for a 1 bed flat (plus bills) or about £650 for a 2 bed plus bills, but it depends on what you want. As someone not from Scotland this would be my preferred location. The city is okay, but as everyone has pointed out Edinburgh is nicer to look at.

As for coming to live in the UK, not sure its the best time to do it, we are fastly approaching a recession and things are getting tougher, remember the UK is tiny in comparison with the USA, therefore less opportunities.

The boy who called wolf springs to mind...how on earth can young girls who have been raped be given any credibility in future.

Im sure that the rape lie was done because of the abortion law in Poland so I understand and I can also understand why a mother would be somewhat upset at her child coming home in the family way. What I am struggling to understand is why on earth this outrageous lie hasn't been cleared up in the news.

Yes,it is true.Problem is very few immigrants study in these unis while a whole lot of foreigners study in low class universities which are recognized as equal due to EU regulations,however English regard them as low ranked.
So the situation is more complicated.Germany for example does not have so many high ranked unis but it does not have low ranked either

The ranking is quite clear so it's up to a student where he/she studies or is able to study, we dont drag them here - new points system is causing them problems though! ;-) Not so simple anymore!

Yes,the rich can go through in GB.

Because a GB degree is recognised around the world and that fact we have some of the top unis in the world counts for something too!

Anyway, all things are changing with regards to immigration so people may stop coming here because they are not guaranteed the possibility of a British Passport!

Sorry to disagree but that has nothing to do with it. fees have a lot to do with it, £20,000 is the average debt a kid will walk away with after 3 years - at 21 / 22 years old, would you want that? You are right when you say that the more well off can aford to go, mummy and daddy can bankroll them for 3 years!

Can someone explain why our second largest industry (money maker worth Billions) is Education if it's so bad?

As for our Education system, we seem to produce some quite inteligent people, education doesn't stop when a child leaves school at 15:30 and lets highlight the fact that English class rooms can have at least a 1/3 of the children whose first language is not English, do you think that this helps?

Basically if some Polish kid thinks he's above the Education system here, he is welcome to go back to Poland, maybe he should take his family with him :) No doubt he'll be back for one of our degrees which are actually recognised around the world.

My limited experience of Polish people in the Uk is that they have a high moral code.....hope it rubs off on us

I noticed some english girls go for locals.It depends on appearance.If a local is rather good looking,he can have lots of affairs with english girls.Also if he is a barman.(I do not understand this preoccupation of girls with barmans).

Really? Do you mean in a sexual way or just that we are very approachable? If you mean sexual then I find that hard to believe because in general English girls don't go for the 'locals' Greeks and Italians are perceived as perverts and in bars in Spain you dont really bump into Spanish men and in Poland and Czech Rep. the men that are out are just too young or too old to even be a consideration. Personally I prefer to just enjoy my holidays - screwing strangers isn't really what I call fun!

Not sure when you last visited Manchester or in deed where the hell you visited that was so awful...But I can assure you that most Poles like Manchester and enjoy the safety of the city, in comparison to lets say.........London!

As for the gun crime, lets get this straight, Manchester is quite a large place...and the gun crime is in a very small area in South Manchester generally is areas that are predominently black and asian.

Not just you, trust me it isn't just their spoken English that is bad their written English is 100 times worse which when writing case notes isn't the best! It is BIG problem in the NHS but when someone tries to discipline these people they cry racism and take all kinds of greivances out against senior personnel which costs time and money...
