Language / difficult English words for Polish speakers? [119]

One of my students assistant came to me the other day and sat down. She said,"I am really boring". I tried not to laugh and explained to her she should say I am really bored. It was cute. Poles have trouble with th words.

Life / muslim community in poland [430]

i agree with you ash you just asked a simple question. as I said there are a number of muslims mainly turkish and pakistani. I assume the mosques are private but I dont know. My advice would be to go to the local kebab place upon arrival and ask there.

i used to live over there and know that place oh so well. good to see things havent changed. I would advise going a bit farther to the fresh market behind hala mirowska. ok the selection isnt as grand especially this time of year but the people are nice. afternoon is a good time after the old folks and before they close. its not a one stop shop but its good. i try and eat seasonal and thats what they carry. whats in season. there is a bakery where the lady nicely helps me with my polish. otherwise wola park hypermarket
