I will be in the Zielona Gora area. Most of the time I will be staying with them. I will, however, also be interviewing for teaching positions. We might go to Gdansk to visit her apartment. Probably do some other sight seeing. I will probably fly into Berlin because its cheaper.

That might be true. I live in Detroit, the hardest hit area in the US as far as economy. I have never heard any ideas what so ever from Bush. The Senate might do more in that area but the president also has some influence in that area. Bush will go down as one of the worst presidents ever.

I know sprint roaming in Europe is supposed to be between $1.50 and $2.00 per min. The nice thing with many of the native SIM cards is free incoming calls. This will be important to me to hear from perspective employers. I only have my GF that I would be calling and I hope to be with her most of my vacation.

I made my own beer from scratch for over 10 years. There are many here that would never touch a Bud. We lost our brewing tradition during prohibition. I would put our micro-brews up against any beer in the world. I don't drink any longer but when I did I could keep up with the best of them.
