Love / Love my polish girlfriend alot but under pressure from family [166]

I think we can all agree that if love is to be true, then the truth needs to be said by both parties. I can understand why this might be difficult, but if you love that girl, you must be open, and that means telling your family. At the end of the day, you are your own man, do what makes you happy, as this gf could be yours for life, while family might not like it for little period of time, but if they LOVE you, then they wil stand by you.

News / ENGLISH STILL PROFITABLE IN POLAND? [78]

In the school i teach at in Krakow, it's all about the students. The teachers are really committed to them, and alot of times you make good friendships with the students because they know your doing your best for them.

News / EU PRO-HOMO INTERFERENCE PROTESTED [19]

I suppose one could grant equal rights to perform brain surgery to everyone who fancies that sort of thing

That must go down as the most stupid comment i've ever read.

Work / Little Help finding out right to leave 1 yr contract. [15]

sorry but nice wise crack at the native teachers here. Not everyone in an english speaking country speaks with the queens english, so how are students going to understand dialect? most of the Polish workers who came to work in my hospital never understood a word of Scottish. I think you fail to understand the concept of knowledge and UNDERSTANDING...

One more thing, i know plenty of native speakers who actually know what there talking about, why would natives be asked before lessons meanings of words, or pronounciations? You can learn as much as you'd like from a book, but understanding a language is a very tough thing.

Food / what is the best way to skin and cook a rabbit? [60]

Best way the kill and skin a rabbit, straight after it has been shot, slice open its belly, and remove the guts. This can be quite difficult, cos i the rabbit is pregnant, then you may have to remove its still "live" babies....
