Life / People with Down Syndrome/Mental disability in Poland [26]

Because everyone has the right to a "normal" life and there are varying degrees, some can intigrate in to society and some unfortunately because of the severety will never be able to. Or would you prefer that they be locked away or may even gased?

Unskilled workers are needed as well. Even if they would do the things that they don't really understand.

Exactly so we will always need jobs for people who are what you consider "unskilled"

I'm not aware of serious problems with unemployment in the UK. Why do you complain, in advance? Only really socialist states have such problems, they can blame only themselves.

We export of more and more jobs abroad each year (call centres and selling off British companies / names) and with a heavy reliance on the industries such as the financial markets then yes there will be fews jobs and with an ever explanding population then unemployment is an unfortunate side effect.

You are advocating as Ayn Rand would say 'the return to the primitive'.

There is nothing primitive about a country growing it's own produce - at present people pay more for locally sourced produce and less for imported (and often tastelss rubbish) - why not expand on the home grown, cut down on the transport costs and the affects this has on the environment - it's a win win situation - apart from those that are exporting their produce to the UK.

Regarding Ayn Rand, I've never read any of her works, so I couldn't comment.

News / Adult movie producers looking for 'actresses' in Poland or just a weirdo? [120]

Explain

So you think it's okay for a man to walk into a shop and ask the shop assistant if she'd like to earn some money sh*ggin in a porn movie? - it's f*cking disprespectful and he's a pervert and it's clear from djf's post that his g/f was shaken and upset by what happened.

It's called sexual harassment and not sure about Poland but there are laws against that in the UK.

Love / 2 different cultures or 2 different people [44]

Same could be said for men really - are they not guilty of using women? As for seeing men as a commodity - thats quite a sad way of thinking, I can't say I've ever looked at a boyfriend in that way or maybe you meant companionship?

News / "Jokes" on the account of Poles are part of assimilation process? [19]

-

They're not that offensive, in fact quite funny, I am surprised there isn't a Pims joke in there though :) and may I please correct you on the fact Anglo is short for Anglo Saxon - and nothing to do with being protestant :) Foreigners (from certain countries) call all English Anglos regardless of their religious background :)

News / Poland's Future Includes Fewer Poles, More Foreigners [324]

.

This is called 'progress'. Advanced countries should be concentrated on the higher technologies

Not all are born with capabilities of being a brain surgens.

While we in Europe would stop wasting our time 'collecting potatoes' and buy cheap imported food.

I dont agree with you on that, neither do I believe exporting jobs to these countries is the answer - call centres were a source of income for many people, these people were then made jobless - thus this creates a problem in European countries with unemployment.

As for farming - Im all for home grown British produce - cheap imports for me is not the way forward. Britain is taking the lead from the Dutch who already feed it's own population with "home grown" produce, grown in huge all year round green houses - the way the world population is growning - I think Europeans countries should rely less on cheap imports and more on home grown.

Let's delve into who from the west has helped (if i can say that) to keep the status quote low in countries with high emmigration and hold them not only accountable but force them to help raise the status quote in those same countries. If the problem is over there then it has to be fixed over there but if we don't try to see that happen from where we sit then it will just continue to get worse imo.

How much foreign Aid goes to these countries? How many jobs from the West have been lost because call centres have been transferred to developing countries because the costs are lower - how about the export market in India for textiiles / clothing, jewellery ect. These countries should be thriving, can you tell me why they are not? I would honestly like to see these countries do well, it would take the strain off Europe regarding immigration and growing tension in Europe because of the influx.

There is a very small number Europeans and Americans became or have become or are becoming very very rich by exploiting the poverty and lack of economic and military leverage of 3rd world nations. There is a trickle down effect but the lion's share stays at the top and it's the top dogs that need to be held accountable for these things, not the average person on the street.

How about the corrupt and wealthy in 3rd world countries, are they not accountable? Just think of the money being made in India and yet poverty if rife. Africa is has resourses but fails to feed it's people, Pakistans Islamabad is a thriving matroloplis, again why are there so many poor? They have little or no infrastructure or administration in place, how can they continue to blame Europe or America?

I'm really sadened by the homophobic sentiments here.

Im saddened by the stupidity of this remark! It's victorian and to quite honest I expected more from a person who claims to sooooooooooo racially tollerent.

But humans can have dieseases too. In this case it is phsychological.

This is true, vanity is a terrible thing ;-)

I reckon that that they take their health more seriously than your average Joe.

I am just a person who see other people are people...humans...respectable...acceptable!

Then do gay people not deserve to be respected and accepted, because after all, they are human!

You dont know me so u cant call me ugly , i think u are ugly thats why u wrote it first hahhahaha !!!

No, I wrote it because, people like you who make statements like that, are usually insecure ugly tw*ts

They have such high standards like F....ing guys in the ass thats sick

So when you have a prostitute bent over and ask if you could do her up the ass, does that make you gay?

Gayism is a mental disorder... it needs phsychological treatment. In a kind way.

If they are gay pakis or indians is that okay because at least they're brown and you like a bit of brown!

News / Poland's Future Includes Fewer Poles, More Foreigners [324]

So it was an opportunity when Your G Grandfather entered UK from middle east, but now its undesirable since You're a british already :D

You're obviously a bit stupid, so I'll spell it out, he was European - not middle eastern - his mother was French and I have no idea what his father was - he was adopted in to my GGG Grand parents family! Is that enough informatioin - they were not Jewish, they were ENGLISH - he was a baby born in the UK to a Frenh, Jewish woman.

Your Great Grandfather decided to immigrate over there from israel.

Not quite - he wasn't israeli - it's all a bit complicated and he was born in the UK.

Yep, UK is always seen as an easy game,

In byegone years it was seen as an opportunity for people to make an honest living - for the vast amount of immigrants that moved here - recent immigrantion (past 20 years) has seen more undesireables enter the UK both legally and illegally.

I think English people should have started cracking down on these people since the time of the dinosaurs :D

We're a very liberal country and took people on face value, very very silly indeed.

News / Polish Banks suck yes or no ? [16]

and when they have caught and with all these scammers coming in it will be just like UK with all the scum and probs........

Not if they keep a tight control on who they give bank accounts to - therein lies the problem, you let every tom dick and harry in and these people abuse the system if it's easy to. If Poland make it difficult to obtain, it might deter people. Whilst Im sure there is a small proportion of the scummy indginious people in the UK who obtain bank accounts for criminal activities, there are a considerable amount that are not indiginous that do it on a much larger scale!

My advice to Poland is be very very fussy who you allow access to. Africans are the worst!

Im not Jewish - my GG Grand father was :) But I know a little about it - I don't get in to arguments with antisemetic fools either.

Jews are both a nation and a religion.

What I was trying to say.

Jesus himself was just a Jew, leading a group of followers. He never started a new religion - that was done by his followers after his death. Christianity started as a heretical group of Jews. Non-Jews were accepted later.

Apologies, my mistake.

News / Polish Banks suck yes or no ? [16]

But anyway i was just saying that the polish banks are very out dated and slow...........

They also have less fraud, so be happy about that, we have a saying in the UK - "all good things come to those who wait" & "if isn't broken, don't fix it"

Work / UNSKILLED / SKILLED WORKERS FROM INDIA. study abroad .training centres [6]

India to Poland to Western Europe. Seems to be a new trend.

What kind of residency do Indians get in Poland? Because you are right, they seem to be coming in through the back door to the UK from Poland and other new EU member countries. The more the UK tries to stem the flow, they still find a way in, it's rediculous!

I dont have a problem with highly skilled labour coming in to the UK (from anywhere) if we have a gap in the market and need them, but anything else...no thanks.
