Travel / Polish Zoos and their animals [27]

Hello everyone,

Have you ever been to a Polish zoo? (I havent been in zoos since a good number of years :D)

What do you think about its conditions? How are our animals you think? Do you think the Zoo animals are being taken proper care?

I remember, when I was a kid I saw one star monkey in one of our Zoos... He didnt use to do much, just sit!... and people used to come take picture etc. He even shaked hands with some. Today while browsing I found a picture which I think looks almost like that monkey!

He became a star and every other animal was probably jealous :D

So give your experiences :)

There is more...

The latest fashion can also be being indifferent about the millions of hungry children all over then world, while wasteful populations/teens spend billions on junk food, often thrown away after just one single bite.

Spend billions/trillions on makeup utensils... plastic surgeries.... rat race stuff.... while a woman in some part of the world hardy can manage scrap of cloth to hide her body, or wipe her tears.

Latest fashion is to speak great words and blame others for being irresponsible....just blame someone else so it doesnt make us feel guilty. And ofcourse, doing nothing, and having no will either.

Latest fashion ... is to complain.
Latest fashion is to loose all things that give happiness naturally from within....to hunt for mytical happiness that must be in doing something immoral/unethical/irresponsible etc.

in 50+ years our retirement homes will be filled with people sporting tats and body piercings. Hint, hint... that may include some of us folks.

But I have certain doubts there...

Even in the 40's and the 70's ... there were those kind of people. As people age, a certain feeling occurs in them. Usually they become more spiritual, more conservative... more afraid ... something which brings them closer to a universal elderly culture.

you can probably get it in tesco in Poland. In Poland they call cerial "chrupki" and I checked them out when I was there. Some weird off-brand stuff.... Hmm wonder if it's any good....

There was a comment here about getting a good English girl... to the heart broken stranger.

But I think, its the girl who should worry about her life ahead. A girl with such kind of sense of honesty will only find more trouble in future life.

Be it a girl or a boy ... a good family life depends on alot of things... including the dignity one gives to oneself.

So much more than that is love ... and people sell it so cheaply in return of a little fun/lust/one interesting moment. Maybe not realizing what they loose ... maybe not knowing the value ... another reason could be that they never have seen it. Maybe they found their family members of same kind ... so didnt get to learn the value of honesty and love ... and commitment.

Maybe its because we care. Giving respect to the dead is something humans have been doing since the beggining of time.

It was a joke. But as I said above...its a display of human emotions....to bring the event into everyones memories...to make it more special...

It's great to preserve the past and learn from those, who are more experienced in life, as opposed to the rest of us.

Yes... recently an elderly woman I knew died. She had problems with breathing always...

Her life's most interesting story was a romantic one. Of her love ... a person she never married, but had a child with him. Her daughter now lives in France with a Moroccan I think. Perhaps she got married with him. She came sometimes....but busy with her own life.

The lady had a very lovely heart ... and very fond stories... will miss her! God bless her sould.. and she had her cat 'Kot'. The cat still lives.

So, we have many elderly in Poland. Its not rare to find the lonely Granny with her cat ... living a life ... going through the remaining time in her life!

What do you think of them? Have you any experience with the Old man or the Old woman in Poland?

I had a bad accident too...near the Polish Czech border...on the Czech side... And I know you might not agree, but it was not my known fault.

I think Poles are being stereotyped to be bad drivers. We can be excellent drivers!

But recently I heard from a friend that he thinks Poles smile very rarely!... This makes me think... how do you see us? Too serious?.... how often do you think we smile?

I respect the PERSON. But not the ailment.

If a person have AIDS, we are not supposed to shot them or hate them... but it doesnt mean we love AIDS the diesease.

If a person is mad...we dont tear them apart. But again, it doesnt mean that madness is welcome.

For our children, and our societies...we need to get rid of this phsychological/genetic disorder by medical/yogic treatments. And there are many and evolving.

I am not saying that being heterosexual is Morality by default... but being practicing gayism is a form of immorality (very unhealthy and traumatic one).
