UK, Ireland / STAFF LINE - RECRUITMENT AGENCY FOR POLISH [7]

Just been watching a programme, which shows how badly Polish people are being treated...they are discoraged from bringing some along is they dont speak good English, one guy (he was actually a Polish journalist working on behalf of the programme makers) was told to sign forms, one of which had his hours down....he was told he would be working 12 hours a day 6 days a week and then the women at the agency said "so thats 48 hours a day".....some how that doesnt add up, any way its still on BBC1 if anyone is interested in watching

Okay, the prog. then moved on to Polish people doing well and living it up in London, it would seem that the Polish are integrating well and doing well, they interviewed a trainee journalist and an accountant...

Life / Polish Parents are controlling [58]

Blimy my mums a saint in comparison to some of the mothers here, my mum doesnt question me, she knows Ill tell her stuff If I need to, I moved out many years ago, but even when I was at home, she knew I had my own life and she let me get on with it...but yes she did nag about certain things, you dont eat enough, you spend to much on shoes, you should have an early night....and on and on, but mums are mums....no matter what age you are..

Life / Poland: Whats with the crowding? Leave some space >:-( [8]

Getting back the orignal point, in spain its always the old english people that push in front...in any country for that matter its always the older people that jump the qu....I use public transport every day...and all the points he raised are all quite common in the UK....even walking in the city centre people dont move out of the way....in bars people try and get served first, there are still a few gents out there that will say, after you!..but in the main people are rude no matter what country you live in....the only place you get space is when at the cash point, there must be some unwritten rule bout crowdinig when drawing money out...

Life / do polish girls get pregnant while in school? [28]

And generally you see young girls who come from single young mothers doing exactly the same...it's a way of life and vicious circle..I think in the uk the youngest mother has been about 12 years old...

whether dotty was a troll or not, i personally think she had a point. and backed it up!

These are mostly accidents.

I can agree with that but being a woman I know women who have got pregnant on purpose! whilst I have friends who have been on the pill and got pregnant and not told partners they are !!!.....and Im going back years....

Life / Are Polish People Racist? [1037]

My polish family is anti-semetic.

My father and family has been screwed (financially) by jews from all over. I've seen it happen and it makes me sick.

Doesn't mean there aren't poles out there who will rip other poles off... i've been ripped off in Poland. But there is an extreme abundance of extremely rich jews who continue to put their hands in the hardworking mans pocket.

the jews have enjured more than you will ever know and they are a race of surviors and you will not get rid of them with your comments....how limited they are....you think that it was only the jews that thought of money?????

rich jews were rich for a reason! not because of a religion.....think about it you moron

after eating my mums xmas cake, which has been fermenting in brandy for 2 months its advisable to stay away from live flames...she puts a wire thing in it and poors brandy in it to keep it moist (yeah right) for about 2 months!

its quite funny you mention karp, because my friend is a really faddy eater and she eat Karp when we were in Krakow and said it was really nice, alway associated it with fish my brother caught and threw back....sorry...

News / November 11 in Poland [15]

Look we're fighting over how we remember those that have fallen to give us a better life - it's pointless....we should just agree that these men were brave and galant and gave up their lives for their children and those that follow.....I for one have yet to travel to france to see my gg father grave...battle of somme, you see we have all lost family members...why argue about it, the British, had only 25 years in between major wars...just think of the blood lines that were lost in families...it doesnt bear thinking about really...I know how my family suffered with losses....
