News / How to form political party with Pan Slavic orrientation in Poland? [34]

Dream on.

rofl. yes.

I know that Craws vision of Pan Slavic Union is more or less based on EU model and not the Osiols vision of the Old Warsaw Pact, but you have to admit his vision of Russian expansion is not farfetched. I for one can see it happening.

i think the russian pressure is on some of it's former republics.

and i'm sure but i bet Crow thinks the pan-slava should be governed from Belgrade. lol

personally, i think the idea of pan-slava was an awesome idea after ww1 or ww2 but now i don't think it's going to fly. EU is it but now with a "new" prez of russia PL should play around with working on bettering relations.. i am not for blind leaps here at all but maybe a warm up in relations. i think PL should make the first move.

History / Pre WWII life in small town Poland [19]

it really depended where you were.. western PL and closer to the major cities had power and more services.. out east and further away it wasn't all that.

Life / Is alcohol abuse an issue in Poland? [8]

Alot of our children were dying in M/V accidents. We changed the law where I live and now when they first get their lic. they cannot have others in the car for 6 months.

like laws really ever stopped anybody from doing anything.. i miss the days where one could drive w/o a seat belt with a bud in one hand. oh well.. dumbarses had to ruin it for everyone.. :(

actually no, it means Connecticut

oh, and there are polish peeps in Hartford but i don't know about anywhere else. look in your phone book and see if there are any PL stores. if there are then there is a decent size PL community.

UK, Ireland / Magda Pniewska's "Last Breath" Heard Over Mobile [11]

damn, that hs got to suck majorily. if the guy was cought with a gun how can he deny that charge? makes no sense. hmm.. send him to TX, they'll take real good care of that a-hole.

lethal injection is not humane, im all for hangings or fireing squads though. fvck them; let them face similar feelings as their victims had to.

History / Pre WWII life in small town Poland [19]

Wrong.

Even small cities in previous German and Austrian zones had electricity, tramways, city gas etc.
Not to mention some movie theatres.

wrong? lol... i don't think so. when did electricity actually came to wide spread use?

The topic is "pre WW2", not now.

and small towns.

Life / Polish Childrens Songs [22]

fiku-miku (that's the correct spelling, now that I've checked in a dictionary) doesn't means anything, it's used, when talking to children, to describe some kind of movement (according to a dictionary: «interjection to describe an activity made quickly and smoothly»)

damn krzysiek, good job. pajac is jester. i associate the phrase with marionette type of a flailing or a somersault by a jester type of movement.
