I don't think such "au-pair"-type programs aren't very popular in Poland yet. Poland is still too "poor" country so that families could afford that. Add quite big unemployment rate. But you could try a Polish language school - learn Polish during the day, and enjoy Poland at the same time. You'd have to have enough money though, but it could be a good experience for you.

Merged: Whats up Calgary?!?!?!

So a quick question ... where are all the polish clubs ... hang out places ... moved here to Calgary over a year ago and see/notice no distinctive polish community ... thought we are everywhere :) ... all I know is one polish church and one polish delie store :) ... Any feed back would be great!

Narazie, pa!

We are in the process of creating listings for all polish communities around the world. Calgary has been just started, but I invite you to enter the information as you find it to help others.
