Britain's bad teeth [77]
Seriously though, some people just don't have the money, some people have weak teeth and some other people may have some kind of an oral, or dental disease.
Absolute truth. I have spent a lot of money on dental care. I had poor dental hygiene as a child and paid for it later. I fought a low grade infection for almost a year before my dentist found an abcess that my regular doctor ignored.(she thought it was a chronic sinus infection) I learned another valuable lesson about medicine with this incident.
Do you know what you call the person who graduates medical school at the bottom of the class? DOCTOR.
I think the importance of dental hygiene is far more than just a vanity or appearance issue.
There are very real consequences for bad oral health.

But hey, you can always laugh at other people untill it happens to you?
If you have bad teeth through no fault of your own I sympathyze.
Even though we poke some fun at people with bad teeth, I want to stress the importance of having good oral health habits. My wife works in oncology and has seen some of the worst suffering and even death result from people who ignored oral hygiene recommendations while undergoing chemotherapy.
