Love / Sad :( I feel i have lost something very special [32]

Scott, it will get beter in time.

Not only have you lost someone you loved very much, but you said you didn't see it coming, so you feel you can no longer trust your instincts, that makes you feel vulnerable.

You have to give yourself time to readjust and you will

They shot down a quarter of the German airforce.

UK, Ireland / Great Britain vs England, Ireland, Scottland, Wales [37]

Student loads are a disgrace and should never have been introduced. Its true that the English pay for Scotland, even with the Oil, Scotland benefits from the Union. But Britain is better as one nation, Scotlands contribution to engineering and politics (for instance) are part of what made Britain what it is - a very successful nation.

my point as well, we should rectify these wrongs, but some people regard these inequalities as a reason to break up. We should stay as a united nation, but give all residents the same benefits

However, we are only strong when we combine as a United Kingdom,

I'd agree with that, i can't see what would be gained from breaking up. although i must admit it annoys me that you get free prescriptions in Wales and students in Scotland don't end up with teh huge debts that english students do, we should all enjoy teh same benefits

Life / Doing laundry in Poland [66]

clippers can make a mark in the middle of a blouse, etc. It does take loads of time.

peg them under the arms where it doesn't show, my mum used to use old stockings and thread them through the sleeves, then peg the stockings to teh line

it hurts like hell right now Scott, but time really is a big healer. trust me you'll get over this. It's a bereavement, something precious to you has died unexpectedly, you have to allow yourself time to grieve

Love / Polish Womens bodies [126]

She's an American version of a Chav...for those who don't know.

Actually i don't think she really exists, who would call themselves Neanderthal, and would anyone that thick know how to spell it?

I think a couple of teenage boys who can't get girlfriends and have nothing better to do have created her, they think it's funny.

Quoting: shopgirl
Now we also have special designer scents for fabric softeners: Lavender and Vanilla, Tropical Breeze (what does that smell like?), etc. We also use a lot of air freshener/disinfectant sprays. Oust is really popular for air. Febreeze is good for fabrics, carpets, car seats, closets.

So many chemicals........ I wouldn't give that lot house room.

you don't have to use chemicals. white wine vinegar makes a good fabric conditioner, you can add essential oils, eucalyptus oil in bedding will deter dust mites. You can freshen carpets by putting essential oils in bicarbonate of soda and sprinkle it on the carpet, leave for a while then vacuum, smells more natural as well.
