As to LCzachor's last posting with regards to the A article, I have to disagree. U mustn't translate the A article into Polish as they don't use articles. I've taught the finer points of the indefinite articles and u can't translate them. For example, jestem nauczycielem, I am a teacher, where do any of ur listed words fit in? They don't. Polish works it out from the context

Poland also has some good flavoured beer at only 4.5% called Redds or Freeq. The beer I'm drinking now isn't classed as a strong one and it's 6% (Zubr). 4.5% is closer to what Brits are accustomed to. Zubrówka with apple juice is tasty too. Poles generally prefers clear vodkas unlike their Scandinavian counterparts who flavour it.

The Germans also say zum wohl (prost alos) and look at their intake of fleisch (meat). I was surprised at the availability of meat in Berlin when I was there. Italians are quite healthy. Kebab shops are everywhere here in Gliwice, I don't know how it is elsewhere. Poles usually say "na zdrowie" before necking shots of vodka, do dna. Not so healthy really when drunk quickly, one after the other. I know ur posting was tongue in cheek. The food in Zakopane is pretty unhealthy

It has a different texture from French Dijon mustard. Poland's Kamis Franczuska mustard tastes the same as the French version but costs 1/7 of the price. For a tear-inducing taste experience, I recommend karashi. I brought some back from Japan for my dad. It's noticably spicier than Colman's, very similar to wasabi in strength. Wasabi is stronger than Polish horseradish (chrzan). Blow ur socks off stuff!!

The Polish diet leaves a bit to be desired but more and more Poles are taking an active interest in exercising. Gyms are usually quite busy and football playing is on the up. The level of jogging could be higher though. The drinking levels are quite high which doesn't help the gut and complaining leads to cancer (said tongue in cheek, Scots complain too)

In response to ukpolska's post above, I'm assuming u mean Colman's mustard. Overall, Poland has to be close to no 1 in the world for mustards, France ranks highly too. However, maybe they were jealous of the competition as Colman's is a cut above. I know that it's not illegal as a Polish friend of mine brought some back from England

Yeah, keep nationality out of it, I'm Scottish and happy to be so. I can assure u that England has far more BNP types than we do in Scotland.
