Food / Polish food is making me fat [49]

I hardly eat pierogis, good as they are, so that helps. I occasionally treat myself 2 a quality łazanki but that contains empty calories. The Poles love their meat so that piles on the pounds. I tend to keep it to a minimum.

The worst are the jars of dumplings. They are LOADED with calories and fat. I once came home rather worse for wear and scoffed a whole jar, not a good idea

Trams are not so strange. America and Japan still have them in places. Washing machine in the bathroom, never heard of that.

The bread only lasts a day or two because they don't put preservatives in it. U will see bez konserwantów on the labels.

Life / "No sex before 18" in Poland? [25]

I've never had sex outdoors, there, straight from the horse's (sheep's) mouth. Come on, the great majority of sex takes place indoors.

UK, Ireland / The best place to buy a house in the UK [120]

There is no best place to buy a house in the UK, it all depends on what u want. Let's agree that Nottingham isn't one of them.

No sex b4 18, who is gonna prove that, given that it generally takes place indoors? Polson is absolutely right here. She needs to get off her high horse and get laid

Life / "No sex before 18" in Poland? [25]

That's the danger of giving cretins the power to change lives. If u do some research, u will find that the age of consent is 18 only in Malta if my memory serves me correctly. I think Austria had a 13 in there. I know because noimmigration described Poland's former 15 as disgraceful but we proved that it was kind of the norm in Europe. 16 is the average.

These personal crusades must be tempered by a more rational approach.

UK, Ireland / What's So Great About The UK? [416]

Quite a fine line for those whose 'humour orientation' is not that way. U need a certain wiring to get it. I was raised on it so its second nature to me. I get what u mean cazza

It's not so much sarcasm for sarcasm's sake but it's skilfully done. Some sarcasm is distasteful and often patronising but, done in the quintessentially British way, is art.

Life / I feel the gay rights movement is constrained Poland [90]

To answer the thread, it takes a brave person to speak out here. There is an undercurrent of homophobia. I don't find Poles as intolerant as THEY say they are but I wouldn't want to be gay here.

News / China to buy 150 helicopters from Poland [47]

I'm sure they'll claim surveillance. The Poles have decent air technology. There is a base in Dęblin which has some amazing aircraft. The Chinese would be getting a bargain. Trying to buy Polish support methinks
