Ok... so i visited Poland a few weeks ago and saw a lot of things most of them beautiful if you know what i mean;-) but one of the strange things i saw was that a lot of young polish girls seemed to be with older guys... when i say older i mean around 10 years older or so, maybe a little less but always atleast 5 years older. This is weird, you never see this in england... never! So why is this cos there has to be some reason and i cant think why?

well that put me in my place lol

but seriously... if a girl was say 20 would she even consider going out with someone older than 25 if it he didn't have money?

because i would be amazed if these guys i saw had more money than what i had in my back pocket

Yes you do.
Same in Scotland.
Also works the other way round too, older woman, younger man.

I dont see any problem with it either way.

and some people like to use their own measure to value others ... ;)

Going back to your question, I haven't noticed big differences between Poland and some EU countries in this case, maybe you have better eye.

ok so maybe you do see this on the odd occasion but this is when the guy drives a ferrari or something... not one of those little polish fiats.

would you choose girl with fiat, if ferrari was possible?

Fiat - reliable, hardworking, no frills but gts you from A to B.
Ferrari - High maintenance, most likely will get you in debt, unreliable.

lol, its called being materialistic :) there are plenty of girls and probably blokes like that, steer well clear of them!!!!!! they are very superficial and usually aren't worth the ride.

ah, of course inside is also important hehe

i wasn't even talking about inside/outside, in fact materialistic could be considered and inside trait as you cannot see, if somebody is materialistic, if a girl is looking for a guy with a big wallet and a ferrari then you aren't going to see it until it actually happens. I think being materialistic makes you sad, if your more worried about the things that come 'with' a person, rather than the person themselves, then you seriously need to have a word with yourself!!!!.

I've been used before in the past, by girls, yes, only because i'm not gay, lol. I can't say i'm super rich or anything but girl's have been with/dated/had relationships with me either because of money/reputation or achivements, so its more like a trophy rather than for the person i was/am. Unfortunately i was young then and didn't see iit coming!!!!.

Its a confidence thing.
Materialistic people tend to be insecure within themselves, they are attracted to security and confident people.

you say they have money but from what i saw most of them didn't

That's because they spent it all on their young birds...

good point, however that dosen't make it any better, just because they feel insecure about themselves, they shouldn't suck whatever they can out of somebody else, if your a sinking ship, don't drag others down with you. Sort your own issues out first :)

you prefer older, i think many girls do, although i'm not sure its healthy if the girl is young herself to like older men, yes when your 19 20 its ok to want 35 year old blokes but younger, i think people should be keeping to their own age group :)

five years older, lol, you've just dissapointed some of the old men on here who thought they stood a chance, lol. Although compared with you i guess i'm an old man now haha

i mean, you are older than me Karl hehe ;) Yes 5 years, 6 or 7, everything is ok, i know a man who is.. hm 23 or 24 heh but his behaviour seems to be for 15 years old boy... so sometimes it's perfect to be with older man

the reason some women date older men is mainly the fact that men in general mature later than their women, so it was logical to date/marry an older men.

These days thigs are changing and maturity is not assinged to age anymore, since the younger you are the more chance you have to remain a perpetual child - just a sign og age we live in. I would speculate further, however I would bore you to death and you ar enot looking for those answers anyways.

I am glad somebody agrees. That is the main reason why women date older men. It just makes sense.
