UK, Ireland / ARE YOUNG BRITS LESS INTELLIGENT THAN POLES? [56]

This is a personal observation after working in England as a teacher, and I found that the majority of teenagers in the UK lack personal motivation to learn, and in contrast this is exactly the opposite in Poland.

I think this is something that is plaguing the western world.

Life / Asian and Polish culture - how do they compare? [24]

Well I'm polish and I am in a relationship with someone from korea and I don't find any similarities. I think the only Asian culture that might have any thing remotely resembling polish culture (like clothing) is the Mongols. And even then the comparison is not a great as it is when you compare Kazakhstan and Mongolia.

.As for the Police i have always found them to be no problem , but not exactly efficient

This is an interesting way to say things. I think even if you are polish the police can be very selective about what they want to do or how they will treat you and if you are a foreigner it is very likely that they will not treat you kindly but again this depends largely on what part of Poland you are in and where you are from

That's so true. She should have given the necklace back if she knew how expensive it was. I never would have kept it myself. But didn't he give it to her before they broke up?

Yeah I probablly wouldn't have taken the necklace too, however if this space thing still involved any intimacy I would take it without hesitation because there was still some resemblance of a relationship during this "space"

part of this is that in PL real historical events have been surpressed ever sinc ethe commies.. thing sare just coming to light now. eventually the histories will be much closer.

Yeah I know that and believe me I've seen textbooks from other countries that basically invented history themselves. Things have come a long way since the fall of communism

Life / Cultural readjustment... returning to Poland from the West. [58]

Maybe she is feeling that she has digressed in her life. She moved from Poland to the Uk and lead a posh lifestyle and now she's back in Poland sans the posh style. I have experienced a similar thing. Maybe her life before the Uk wasn't what she wanted it to be and she got adjusted to the life in the Uk and loved it but now that she's back instead of feeling like she has moved on she feels stuck in the past. That might sound really off, sorry if it does. I would just give her some time.

yea i've seen this. It makes me very sad. You don't have to agree with homosexuality, but at least have respect for fellow humans. It makes me sick. She actually said homosexuals were a bigger threat than terrorist!
