Love / First time meeting Polish girl question... [23]

I would bring her a cup of coffee and go in there and talk to her. When you have finished your cup of coffee ask for her number and leave :) You can call her up later and ask for a date :)

many polish girls do that, even Ive done it a couple of times...

And is that really better than hurting his feelings by not turning up?

USA, Canada / Health care, USA is messed up what about your country? [33]

In Norway the healthcare is free, but it suffers from not having enough funds. One would believe that in one of the Worlds richest countries we would have a good healtcare system ,but we dont. People die while waiting for operations here ,because the goverment wont spend the money needed.

Love / Things not to do with a Polish girl? [97]

Here in Norway it is normal to go first and hold the door open ,and then lead the lady inside.
Also normal to guide her by holding her hand out the door again :)
I dont know how it is in Sweden Sana, but i would have thought it is not to far away from Norwegian standards. :)

UK, Ireland / Drunken Poles on the streets of London!! [103]

I must admit, that the english tourists ,at least the ones who drink, tend to stick out of the crowd of tourists. Some of them have very bad behavior.

But i dont mean all english tourists, but i do notice mostly englishmen. :)

Language / So i bought the Polish game "Wiedźmin" to learn Polish. [27]

I did get the Boxset with soundtrack and DVD :)

And i bought the game in Polish to learn the language, i do understand about 50% of what is being said in the game, i thing looking at and hearing the dialogue in the game will help me understand more the composition of sentences. And it helps me also to understand spoken Polish cause this is my biggest problem :)

Language / So i bought the Polish game "Wiedźmin" to learn Polish. [27]

Is this a good way of learning Polish? It's a game with a polish author, it has polish text and dialog. But the game has no English but i have dictionary.

What do you think? Is this a good way to learn?
