History / Did Ukraine really "steal" Polish land? [302]

I'm tired of all the hippy bull, i for one believe there's times when killing, expelling or inflicting suffering is justified, if someone skullfvcked your elderly mother while you watched you wouldnt play an understanding little bytch, its nice to preach if you're not affected, its also completely worthless.

It takes a child to have revenge, it takes a man not to lower yourself to the tactics of your enemies. You call yourself smart, right? Funny that you couldn't think of that one.

Polonius3

What are you on about? Derek asked me if I was living in or had relations in PL, so I explained him. That's all. Don't be afraid, your non-issue is fully respected. So stop moaning at the very first post that is a bit skewed from the original topic. It's not like were having a full fledged Jewish conversation here. Just one question and one answer and then she comes and immediately starts whining. And what are you talking about anyway? Are you a bit confused, miss?

Ironside

I don't condemn Polish atrocities. I condenm ALL atrocities, committed by all parties in all places everywhere.

well, at last they could go freely unlike Poles in Lwów - in most cases!

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flight_and_expulsion_of_Germans_from_Poland_during_and_after_World_War_II

Two wrongs don't make it right.

But anyway. It's the past. Learn from the past, enjoy today and look forward to a bright future. Too many ppl live in the past.

Well, the Poles weren't really nice to the Germans in Wroclaw, Poznan and other cities right after the war, weren't they? They treated the Germans a bit like the Poles were treated by the Soviets in Lwow.

German lost and during the war were practicing atrocious activities

Do atrocities committed by the other side justify atrocities committed by oneself? Just wondering.

You're not only grumpy, but somewhat primitive.

I'm glad we have a highly evolved female here to correct a grumpy and primitive, perhaps even mysogynistic M-G. I am so grateful for that.

I haven't been in Amsterdam for over 10 years, I think.

Be aware, you're gonna be surprised a lot more on here.

Marcin is a very cool name, keep it.

No, he should change it to Arnold. Fits better with him, I think.

change it to Jola.

What kind of name is that? Sounds like a dog's name: "did you take Jola out today? He's gonna p*ss all over the place if you don't".

Names do matter though.

Looks do matter too. Unfortunately.

Life / PYTA ANYONE? [11]

derek trotter

My mom is Jewish, and her father's family, just like quite a lot of ppl of her mother's family got gassed in Auschwitz and Treblinka. They didn't kill just Poles in Auschwitz, you know :) But you could say in a cynical way that my family moved to Poland yes. But I am Dutch, born and raised. I currently don't have family in Poland, at least not that I'm aware of. Or it must be that one of the PL chickadees I slept with got pregnant and didn't tell me and moved back to PL. But that is a quite shady territory in which I currently don't want to go.

So you might understand now that I have a little bit of trouble with some of the anti-semitic crap that is being thrown on this forum at times? I saw some documentary the other day about Hitler and the mentality in Germany in the 1930's and I actually recognized some of the arguments the ppl back then threw in against the Jews from what some disturbed minds here on this forum post at times. I think that's very frightening.

Hm, it's time I come over to Southern California and give you that spanking you're obviously asking for.

Love / How do u know if a polish man likes u? [37]

What did you see?

In the bus I saw this dropdead gorgeous Polish (I knew she was Polish as she said TAK a few times) hugging and kissing some guy who looked like he was only a generation or two away from the apes. He was really, truly and utterly hideous.

You dont know the couple personally, so you can't judge based on appearances.

Hm, I don't know them and I probably will never know them. But yeah, I'm grumpy and that tends indeed to cloud my judgement a bit.

So, if the Netherlands moved into Belgium and annex the entire country as well as the parts of France and Germany that speak Dutch, it wouldn't be an issue then as these grounds historically belonged to the Low Countries? Hey, that creates new possibilities!

Edit: Bratwurst! Give us back our grounds! Now! (and while you're at it, you might as well give us back all the bicycles you stole from us!)

:))))))

Looking at your map I see that NL can actually claim back grounds all the way to Bavaria...Start giving it back to us, Bratwurst, I will put you in charge!

:))

lets pick country with minorities and focus on the area where such minority is majority - this is a really strenuous thinking to justify robbery.

I was just observing the map, Iron, nothing more. I don't justify robbery. But didn't you guys annex some territory from Germany as well?

as for my Dutch is not progressing :(

That would depress me too. If you need some help, drop me a line, I'd be glad to lend you a helping hand. But you have to ask :)

Read this for some perspective

After clicking on the link and seeing the header of the piece of text, I didn't want to read any further, yet I did. And of course it came down to the same. But then I read the part of the Jews in Spain (and presumably Portugal as well). Hm, interesting. You need to change your perspective a little, Joe, it's getting a bit monotonous. I don't hear anything about Torquemada for that matter. Just read this:

Poland after WW2

Now, let's have a look at the ethnic composition:

So it's clear that Poles were a minority in the territoria annexed by the Soviets, except in the Lithuanian part, where it was 50/50. On the other hand, they were a minority too in the territoria they annexed from Germany. In fact Poles were only a majority in the land without the lands annexed by the Soviets AND without the lands they annexed from Germany.

Life / What is the nature of Polish people's hygiene? [76]

why on earth would you change clothes at least once a day?

Because he hasn't washed his body for the last 6 or 7 years. He simply thinks it's easier to change clothes. So every time his clothes start reeking after his bodily odours, he changes clothes. Easy peasy.

:)

Are you planning to sell soft-drugs too? In that case you need to fill in form 57-A16 part 1 and 2. Oh, I forgot it was PL, not NL. In that case, you will be proscecuted rabiately as hashies are very bad for you; vodka is much healther and better for you.

Life / WHAT DO YOUNG POLES SEE IN RAP CRAP? [63]

markpol

Hm, I cannot understand what he is on about, so I only listened to the music and besides the vocal sample(s) they use I don't think this has the essence of rap - sure they rap, but the music lacks the typical atmosphere rap has, but that could be just me. Compare this sample from 1993 from the legendary Dutch rap-ensemble "Osdorp Posse". I don't expect you to understand what he is rapping about, but just listen to the samples they use and compare the atmosphere in it. Hint: he is rapping to all the fake rappers you had at the time, as they themselves were the first to start rapping in Dutch. The good thing is that he literally translates terms American rappers use into Dutch. ;)

Hey, I take a bath daily. I also smell sweet like plumeria or sweet pea flowers. Too bad we don't have smellovision here.

lol, again I was joking, sweetie :) I shower at least once a day, I just use lynx (the stuff the rest of the world outside Ire and the UK calls Axe) shower gel, don't know which variation, I just grab one in the shop and that's the one I use that two weeks before I get a new one. Hm but smellovision would be a good idea, nevertheless. Would explain a thing or two :)

Love / Differences and similarities between slavic girls [30]

Ok:

Similarities:

they all got 2 eyes, 2 ears, 1 mouth and 1 nose.
they all speak a language that I don't understand.
they all originally lived to the East or South-East of the Netherlands.
they all have two legs, two arms, two feet, two hands and two breasts.
between their legs they all look the same (anyway) :))))

Mentality-wise:

They all don't know what they want.
They all can't make up their mind.
They all don't have a clue about logic.
They all can be erratic at times.
They all talk too much :)

Differences:

Some have blonde hair, while others have black hair and darn me if some of them haven't got red hair.
Some have blue eyes, while others got brown, grey or green eyes.
Some are bigger than others (Some girls are bigger than others - the Smiths).
Some have bigger breasts, bigger noses or bigger ears than others.
Some shave, some don't (but should).
Some drink until they're stoked, some don't.
Some are easy, some are not.
Some have got a clue what they are talking about, while others wish they had.

In short, they're like any other girls around this planet, except for black and oriental girls, because they all have black hair.

Maybe we should consider slavic girls just like any other girl from any place in the world?

Well, you look like one :)

Anyway, I cannot believe that nudism was the only thing Eastern-Blokes did as act of "civilian disobedience". There must be more as I understand from the several posters on this thread that everybody was so heroice and brave. Surely, there must be something "small" they would do to make life for the Soviets a little less comfortable.

The rest of the numbers (for NL at least) isn't correct either. Laura Clark, the writer of this nonsense, should go do what she does best: give head to anyone who wants, instead of bothering ppl with this nonsense.

News / European Quality Of Life Index: Poland in the middle [29]

Hm, the average working week in NL is less than in France? Hell, no way! France is known for having the shortest working week of the entire EU. I think they, for some weird reason have the ATV (Arbeids Tijd Verkorting - lit: Shortening of Working Time) into account, but that is not relevant; the working week in NL is generally 40 hrs and in with deduction of the 12 days (one per month) those ATV days, I come to a average working time of 38,15 hr. So most likely this is some sort of nonsense graph again, not very well researched by some journaille-crap that had nothing better to do but find sensational things.

Edit: ah, it's the Daily Mail. Thank God, we don't have to take it too seriously then.
