Love / I've met a Polish girl, and have feelings for her... [44]

But then she's warning me, saying she wants to use me because i'm sexy.

This doesn't sound like a Polish woman mindset thing. It's just a woman mindset thing. She's attracted to you and she wants to be with you but not in a serious relationship. If you let her, she will use you and then leave you in 2 months, maybe before that if she gets bored of you. Is that what you want? At least she warned you. Some men never get that warning.

Love / Sending this poem to a girl - cheezy or not? [53]

It's not that the poem is "cheezy". It might be a little overwhelming for someone who isn't in a commited relationship with you. She might think you're pressuring her to feel something too serious. She might even see you as a potential stalker who won't be able to forget her if she doesn't want to see you anymore. That's just my opinion.

My suggestion is to give her something less serious if you're trying to make her like you.

Love / Which is better? Being single or being in a relationship? [92]

I'm going to have to get up off my butt and do something for myself instead of hanging around waiting for it to happen.

You definitely have to ask someone out. Otherwise, you'll never be in a relationship. But if you settle for someone just for the sake of being with someone you might end up miserable instead.

Love / Which is better? Being single or being in a relationship? [92]

Every serious relationship I have ever had came along at a time when I wasn't worrying about being in a relationship

I met my ex-boyfriend at the corner store. I ran inside wearing red sweat pants, no make up and frizzy hair, convinced that I would not see anyone I knew and there he was. We were together for years. You just never know.

Love / Which is better? Being single or being in a relationship? [92]

Yeah, I'm fed up being single too. Being single is definately the easy option for me to take as it avoids the pitfalls of rejection etc. This is not the option I want but at the same time I don't want to fall for the first girl that shows any sign of interest either. I need to be careful, my circumstances have left me in a vunerable position emotionally.

I have found that the right person comes along when you least expect it. They are there from one moment to the next. It's better to wait for that person.

Love / Can't Work her out! She's Polish! [40]

well i spoke to her and she said One of her Friends pushed her and just laughed at her

It might actually have a lot more to do with her past relationship than with your ex. An ex girlfriend wouldn't be that big of a deal. Her relationship probably ended badly and she doesn't want more problems.

Love / Can't Work her out! She's Polish! [40]

my ex and her friends bullied this Polish girl in a Nightclub

What exactly did your ex say to her? Maybe she said something about you that scared her off. Maybe they told her lies.

Love / Dating a Polish man - is he old-fashioned or not interested?! [19]

One time we went to the cinema and he brought along several of his friends without asking me first even though it was meant to be a date

Who asks who out on these dates? Does he ask you? What does he say when he asks?

Food / Polish vs american food [34]

Well, when I was in Krakow a few years ago, I was amazed at how many polish people at at McDonalds, especially when you can have a really decent lunch or dinner for nearly the same price anywhere in the old center!

Could it be that the food is served faster at McDonald's and they're in a hurry? That's one thing that makes McDonald's and other fast food places so popular in the US. When you go to a restaurant you have to wait forever for your food.

We're fortunate to have fast food places here that offer healthy alternatives like Yoshinoya that serves rice, vegetables and seafood, or Pollo Loco that serves grilled chicken and vegetables, and Subway Sandwiches that has vegetarian sandwiches.
