[Quiz] And you thought you knew Polish cuisine? (in Polish language)

just a quick multiple choice test: 10 questions (3 possible answers),
it's about regional food, so don't get discouraged,
I got right only 5 of 10 (I knew only 3, guessed successfully other 2), and I've been living here for the 37 years since the day I was born :)

I'm very proud of myself. Got 7. Yes, I guessed mostly, based on my knowledge of regions, only two were not a guesses... never heard of the names, but they looked scrumptious.

So, does it mean that the products will sell at Tesco, Biedronka and the likes?

I really doubt it, since even Polish people don't know those things, they wouldn't sell too well :)
of course oscypek is an exception, it's famous all other the country thanks to the people from Zakopnae selling it in all big cities of Poland

Also bliny and kołduny are familiar to many people, and I knew Szare kluski because for thirteen years, I lived in the area where they are from.

Well, it sounds like a good business idea...put ads in papers, recipes, put it on the menu at nice restaurants, TV commercials...you name it. In no time people will know about the dishes allover Poland, the tourists will try it...heck.

Maybe I should open a restaurant in Poland when I retire? :) Or, maybe I don't really know the reality of the market...

I had to use a polish translation site and google to look at all the regions and I got 8 out of 10. Is that cheating?

shewolf (wilczyca) I think I can forgive you the cheating because of your determination to actually google the regions and read about them.

Someone found a really old thread of mine, I was a member of PF for only 3 days when I created it :)
Anyways, I seem to be at the age when people don't learn anymore :(

I got right only 5 of 10 (I knew only 3, guessed successfully other 2)

After almost 2 years my score was exactly the same - still knew only 3 and guessed successfully other 2.

9 out of 10. missed the one about the goose and carp erroneously indicating Krościenko. But I lucked out on three which were wild guesses.

Doing it all with my minimal Polish skills and my eating experience I got 4 of 10 correct. I didnt use a translator nor Google anything.
