Kentucky isn't very popular among Poles in the US (not sure why because it's a nice state and good weather). You may try to get some contacts with Poles living in the area through this site: polacywct.com/ogloszenia/index.php.

Hey! Are you still currently in Lexington? I'm about to move there next month. I'm originally from Krakow and for last 20 years I have lived in NY.

What? There are actual Polish people in KY? Beautiful, shamefully under-rated state.

It was in one of those "similiar discussions'" at bottom of page. I saw Kentucky and couldn't pass it up.

That is a fact with the Blue Mountains and being the bourbon whiskey. capital of the world, and world class Thoroughbred horses, .bred for speed and agility.
Owensboro, Kentucky is where the Green River distillery is. (One of my favorites)
Do a tour of their distillery and by the end of two hours you will have earned a college credit and a rememberable buzz.
There are over 100 active distillers in Kentucky that produce over 95% of the bourbon in the world.
The Kentucky bourbon trail has almost 50 distillery's you can tour with over 10 million barrels of bourbon aging at one time which is more than the population of the State of Kentucky.
Not a lot of big populated cities in Kentucky so work for Polish immigrants would be slim pickings.
Plus the people of Kentucky are very clannish and have a distrust for outsiders.
That would be my guess why Polish people never immigrated to Kentucky in numbers.
