My first day back and here you are already diminishing and attacking me for no reason.
Are you really so insecure to take this thread Off - Topic again ?
Now if we had a Mod with some balls you would be suspended for Baiting and going Off - Topic as it is very clear who is trying to stir the shlt first again.

Did you see the dive the market took yesterday ?

All my vacations are written off as business trips to buy real-estate wherever.

My leer jet and yacht are both huge write offs as well

Do you really not see why you are such a laughing stock on this forum?

PF's very own village idiot with visions of grandeur!

He's going to tell us that he was only joking next and that we have no sense of humour.

The jet setting stock trading yachtsman! I wonder, if his crew has a pilot or Johnny flies it himself?

He's going to tell us that he was only joking next and that we have no sense of humour.

He uses this all time when he gets caught lying.

More diminishing posts by the Jealous Squad.
Look you two, just because stock trading is not your forte doesn't mean you should come here every day to take my thread Off-Topic.

I was only joking, don't you guys have any sense of humor. :-)

Thanks dolno and welcome back.
Did you happen to catch that TESLA run from January 3rd to February ? where their stock went from $103 to $214 ?
I cleaned up on that one and got out again.
These guys are more focused on ripping on me than making money.
And then you have the, "I am better than you are" cowboys.
They expect that ever pick I make is supposed to be a huge gainer.
Hey, I have losses too and those are the ones they focus on to diminish me like Ha Ha Hairy did.
Glad you are enjoying life dolno.
We miss a happy go lucky guy like you here.
I am mostly out of the market and have parked my money in C.D.'s at 6% currently.
We are heading out to Costa Rica for 10 days here real soon so I don't want to be heavily invested in case the market crashes.

Hope you start posting more as we have a real dooms day crowd here lately and the place could use some cheering up and fun.

Stay safe my friend.

with the extra money we made with Johnny Rebs tips

I'm surprised you managed to make any money at all based on Johnny's tips, since in most instances they run counter to accepted logic within the financial sector. For example, his claim of selling out of everything and sitting on cash in CDs. In the real world, where I live, you have to pay taxes on things you sold at a profit. Either Johnny sells at a loss, or he routinely wipes out his gains through his frequent in and out maneuvers.

Perhaps he did the exact opposite, hence making some money as opposed to losing his shirt.

Dunno Bobko, I followed his tip and it paid off

Even a broken clock is accurate, twice a day.

If you bought something he recommended, and simply sat on it - you're 95% likely to have done well. This is because we have just finished living through one of the strongest bull markets in the world's history. Due to nonstop quantitative easing by governments in North America and Europe, stocks have benefited disproportionately. Making rich people richer, and poor people just about as poor as they always were.

However, if you actually did what Johnny suggests with his daily advice of moving stuff around, you would have likely only hurt yourself. Being a day trader in general is a joke, for 99.999% of people. The information asymmetry between an average Joe day trading and a market maker who sees the entire picture is just too great. You're being fleeced by experts, every step of the way.

P.S. - for the paranoid goons around here, I do not work for a market maker firm, and the above is not financial advice. @dolno

Well maybe we can be just lucky one time in our lives.

You better hurry as the good old days are coming to an end quickly.
The federal government ticks closer to the moment sometime this summer when it will no longer be able to meet its financial obligations.
Without action by the divided Congress, that would trigger a historic default that would shake the U.S. and world economies.
When they devaluate currency by 50% over night world wide it's gonna get nasty.
If the U.S. goes down economically, Europe will go down with us.

Europe will go down with us.

Europe will, but the UK will remain standing.

Right, another quarter end has passed, so here is the performance of our stocks. A great few months for Poland (35 percent up). France also flying, then Germany and Spain on 24 percent. UK a bit behind on 14 percent and US lagging on 10%. That's unusual - the US has normally outperformed Europe in the last 10 years. Strong Euro and lower interest rates are helping the European markets

CMS picks since July 7th last year

Schlumberger +57%
Siemens +52%
Dexcom +51%
SAP +31%
Pekao +21%

All those comfortably above inflation- Siemens has been through a stock split and I still have the underperforming Siemens Energy + 7%

Then some of mine not so good

Biedronka +11%, picking up nicely
Linde +10% - moved from Frankfurt to NYSE, right idea, wrong timing
General Dynamics + 4%. I thought Ukies would buy a lot, but they are getting most of their weapons in Western Europe
Costco 0%

So all positive but a few below inflation

JRs picks

Apple +16%
Devon Energy -29%. Don't know what the problem is but its been a bad buy for me
Li Auto -34% but it is recovering a bit from it's very poor autumn.

3 more months and then we can choose the next ones !

Looks like you have done almost as good as me though over all.
Keep up the good work.
