you would know how I knew.

Everyone knows how you knew: you waited until something happened and then posted saying it would happen. That's why you were in such a hurry to post.

Pity your prediction about Li hitting 40 was completely wrong.

what is your stock tip today..... or any day

My stock tip is to always do the opposite of what you say is going to happen, that technique works 90% of the time. I have no idea how you do it, but you're the exact opposite of a mystic genius.

Again totally untrue as the post shows different that was posted within minutes before anything happened.

Pity your prediction about Li hitting 40 was completely wrong.

Pity how the old post contradicts you.

My stock tip is to always do the opposite of what you say

So then you are saying that you bought 200 share short on Boeing at $117 when I told you to buy and it and today it is now at $155.

Ha Ha Hairy, you just lost $7600 and Boeing is still going up. lol
In fact Boeing at $155 is still a good buy.
Pity that you just don't get the stock market do you.
Your rational is that stocks never fluctuate for unlimited reasons from day to day. lol
Better you just hide and watch mystic Jimmy's winning predictions since you have none to offer of your own.
So what is your stock pick for today, Ha Ha ?

I see Li is also predicted to go up straight after opening today, you've missed your chance for that to be one of your predictions.

Well actually mystic Ha Ha Hairy I would not have predicted that like you did.
It opened at $33.56, has not gone over $33.70 all day and presently is sitting at $32.84. lol
But don't give up just get as it may sky rocket straight up from the $33.56 that you tipped us on as the market doesn't close for another two hours.

Right now I have to run to town for some sushi and a lotto ticket.
A $2 ticket will give you a chance at over a BILLION dollar drawing Friday night.
And if I win it I promise to buy you a new bike and a new computer. ;-)

@cms
Refer to post #483

You say that on July 5th your siemens was worth 97 per share.
On July 6th my AAPL was at 138 per share.

polishforums.com/off-topic/stock-market-talk-85560/17/#msg1863761

So today August 10th, your siemens (SAP) is worth 96 per share.
You lost a dollar per share.
Today, my AAPL is worth $169 per share for a gain of $31 share.
But the year is not over yet.
Keep watching. ;-)

Yes US stocks are picking up a bit - just like in 2008 the US govt is being far more proactive than the EU in responding to the crisis. Still confident in this one however

My name is not Ha Ha Harold so I am not boasting cms as we both know how fast the market can change and how many variables there are.

Hang tight and see where we are sitting next year.

Would you buy AMZN for a long term investment?

Theyre expanding into Europe!
OP johnny reb 48 | 7,138
12 Aug 2022 #517
AMZN is at $140 per share right now.
My charts are showing a very strong buy.
So to answer your question, YES in my opinion.
Last March AMZN was at over $2000 per share so they did a 20:1 split.
That was when you should have been in.
Now they are going thru a lot of costly legal red tape.

Their model will not make profits in Europe - in the big markets, France, Germany and Italy they will be forced to allow unions and proper minimum wages. Plus free delivery will never be profitable and their cloud rental business will breach EU monopoly laws eventually.

Ive heard theyre trying to unionize in the US but it failed.

Good to know, thanks!

Unions always fail in the end.
Typical Socialist/Communist mentality.....they Just don't understand why their mere existence is just so wrong and idiotic!

My gosh, yesterday was another day of heavy losses.
I am starting to get nervous.
Maybe it's time to cash out because I don't have ten years to get back to even again.
Might be time to call it good and move to Panama.
It's over for America as obama and biden have finished us off.

So Poland's stock market is now the worst in the world in 2022 - August was terrible, down 11 percent

You blame PiS who is doing a wonderful job for Poland ?

Thank you, PiS!!!

Oh give us a break as the whole world is suffering from inflation caused by the Cabal.
Remember, Skippy, when you say something bad about PiS then you have to follow by saying something good about them.
Here, let me give you an example.
Polish Jobless Rate Lowest Since 1990
Polish Wages Rise the Most on Record
See how that works, Slick ?
Even the U.S. market was up yesterday.

It isn`t a big deal in good times of prosperity in Europe and the world. Even a monkey could rule in such times and it wouldn`t be able to spoil anything.

Now bad times are coming and so far PiS has flunked all measures which could save Poland from recession.

Oh b.s
Please tell us how so the rest of the world can avoid the recession too.
You Socialists just don't get it and rely on the blame game.

Dear guys, if PiS govt was any good or even so excellent as they have always claimed and bragged of, they would make sure Poland isn`t hit by economic crisis. While I am reading economic press all the time and know they are doing nothing or delaying crucial decisions for months. Autumn and winter will be catastrophic for Poles due to PiS incompetence, not sanctions or refugees.

This is a thread about the stock market and whatever thx rest of the economy is like, the terrible performance of the stock market is definitely down to PiS

Early on they decided that anyone who had money to invest in the stock market was not one of the voters anyway and they didn't have to care about them.

So it's not just this year, it's been going badlysince 2015

The things that they have done recently to help take the market even further are

- a mortgage holiday that put a huge dent in bank profits (Banks are about a quarter of the index)

- threatened more taxes and more fines on retailers (retailers are one of the only kind of companies you can invest on the Polishstock exchange, which are not subject to any government interference or don't have PIS flunkies on the board).

- are now talking about a 40 percent tax on anybody who has, by some miracle, made any profits on the stock market. That to go into the pockets of some PiS voters in East Poland

So yes, thank you PiS

What did PiS do to make the next winter "catastrophic"?

So yes, thank you PiS

Hey, boys, are you forgetting that Poland is a "democracy"? hahahahahahaha...and that democratic governments do what the voters want? In Russia, that tyranny with a despot, that's a different matter...You must feel so lucky to have "a democratically elected" ruling scum,...

Ask this question in another thread which concerns PiS.

Is that an answer to my question below ?

Autumn and winter will be catastrophic for Poles due to PiS incompetence,

Again, what incompetence ?

the terrible performance of the stock market is definitely down to PiS

Every stock market in the world are down, is that PiS's fault too ?

So yes, thank you PiS

Are those reasons any different than the New York Stock Exchanges ?

What did PiS do to make the next winter "catastrophic"?

I keep asking that same question but all I here is crickets.

Bullshit Teacher, it is about stock market talk.
The question is, "what did PiS do so terribly to make the stock market tank ?"
So go play Mod some place else, this is MY thread and I will make up the rules.
Got it !

Excellent presentation, cms.

Not at all.
The reasons he gave are the same as America is experiencing and PiS doesn't have a thing to do with our stock market.
You guys are at a dead end with blaming the PiS this time.

Eh ? I just outlined that Poland is the worst performing stock market in the world, having overtaken Pakistam and Turkey. And I just explained the Polish laws and taxes that caused that, which have no parallel in the US
