Seven Legia fans arrested at the Leicester City - Legia Warszawa match. 12 police injured, 2 of them seriously. Looks like the courts will be throwing the book at them, and UEFA fining Legia yet again.

BTW, Legia lost 3-1.

Too bad for women's sports as the Transgenders are taking over and if the girls complain the woke mob doxes them and tries to destroy their lives.

UPenn transgender swimmer continues dominant season with more record-breaking wins
nypost.com/2021/12/07/upenn-transgender-swimmer-lia-thomas-continues-dominant-season-with-more-record-breaking-wins/

All he had to do was take some pills for 1 year and he qualifies as a woman now.

WTF.... I want to see something chopped off or added, hes not a trans but faking it...

taking over

In Formula One?

Would it make a difference what gender a driver is?

Since when is formula one " driving" a sport?

Im talking about women's swimming here, nice try but that will fall on deaf ears and you know it.lol

Whats next women's basketball and tennis, it will be destroyed in no time at all.

Since it started.

women's swimming

They have governing bodies, and the issue of transgender athletes is a topic of much discussion and still something new.

There are more interesting and important things to get all worked up about.

I'm not worked up. I just think its unfair to the girls that train all the time to be blown away by boys that are biologically stronger.

How about a 3rd transgender category and they can compete by themselves.

Whatever sex is on you birth cert. is what normal ppl go by.

Many people say this.

In the end, the respective sports governing bodies will figure out how to manage the situation for the best.

In the interim they shouldn't let boys shatter girls swimming records, plus 38 seconds, thats huge in swimming.

I wonder what will happen to the Olympics if the wokies get their way, yikes! Most countries wont go along with this silliness, only weirdos in the USA, so embarrassing!

It's not over until the lawyers sing... doesn't he still have an appeal?

If he's kicked out I'm never watching a second of the AO again (and tennis is one of the few sports I like watching).

I'm not even a Djokovic fan but... he's in the right here. He poses no risk and if the law cannot take that into consideration it does not deserve to be respected. Bad laws (like vaccine passports) erode the respect for law in general.

Don't think so as he tried to sneak in certain things. You can't try to get another country on the notion that you find their laws ridiculous

And in any case civil disobedience requires being prepared to suffer consequences

their laws ridiculous

their laws are ridiculous - why should healthy young (okay ND isn't so young...) athletes have to undergo an invasive procedure to engage in their profession?

Especially with an under-tested medicine and especially when anecdotal evidence is mounting that young healthy people are more in danger of the drug itself (and when the producers and the governments pushing the shots are free of any legal responsibility)?

Australia no longer deserves to hold the AO and it should be moved elsewhere.

Disgusting government...

SUPPORT FROM BULGARIA!

Bulgarians recorded a song about the struggle of Novak Djokovic with the Australians:

Agreed but it's not a reason to break a foreign country rules. He didn't have to go there. If he did he should follow their laws.

There are other tournaments.

Australia went mad but I find yet another high profile person *****ng on the rules normal people have to follow irritating

Nobody "has to" follow them. It's a personal choice at the end of the day. Governments are going to make it harder and harder for the unvaxxed aka pureblooded but short of sending in the goon squad, forcing you to the ground, and giving you a vaxx by force it's still your choice.

Now the Australian government admits his exemption was valid (in other words he followed their laws) but they want to kick him out because he has opinions that are not in line with the government's policy of injecting people with under-tested drugs.

theage.com.au/sport/australia-declares-djokovic-a-risk-to-civil-order-and-public-health-20220114-p59oex.html

This should be incredibly concerning. Australian is going in a very bad direction...

Boycott the AO now!

Australian Open.... Australian Closed, at least for Djokovic.

Its then Australian Closed and even didn`t start. Not only for absence of Novak`s good game but for the reason of all behind AO. Australian government ruined it to the level of disgusting.

Its then Australian Closed and even didn`t start.

It makes me wonder if the Aussies dont want Jokervich to break the record. 20 Australian open victories and they dont want a 21st.

Theyre afraid hes going to win, thats all.

dont want Jokervich to break the record

It's more about displaced anger. The Melbourne area had totally insane lockdown policies and most people just took being shut up at home for months and months and months.

Then Djokovic posts an instagram picture talking about spending time with loved ones (something Australians had been deprived of by their government for many many months).

Rather than admit that they were saps for following a fatally flawed policy (lockdowns have not worked.... anywhere) and asking themselves questions they found it easier to get mad at Djokovic.

And he doesn't have 20 AO victories "just" 9 (IINM) the 20 is his number of victories in Grand Slam tournaments. At present there's a three or four way tie among players and he's the most likely to break it (if he plays).

This is so universally true that there should be a bumper sticker that says: Don't Be A Sap!
The only thing worse than being a sap is being a sap who was told he was a sap and continued being a sap because he was among other saps and was too scared to stop being a sap.
