Those here long enough may remember Polonius3. He died last month, aged 84.

He hadn't posted here since his wife died:

The passing of Polonia's "Man in Warsaw" Robert Strybel, Polonia's long-standing Warsaw correspondent, recently passed away in Warsaw. For decades he had kept fellow PolAms informed of current events in Poland while generating interest in all facets of its cultural heritage.

Oh man...I remember his respectful postings well....but I never knew he was a real journalist! Now that explains his intelligent style and rethoric. Another good one gone...RIP

You can still see cookery books for sale in kiosks which he and his wife did. Usually under his late wife's name.

We were nearish neighbours for a while. He was highly intelligent and also very religious.
