Funny how people who were not educated in the US, or have had children educated in the US comment on education in the US. When woke leftist idiots say "math can be racist" and "2+2 may not equal 4" or that the addition of numbers may not be accurate based on someone else's perception, there is a big problem. Have to say that in my own classes the standard of math was high but this was some years ago.

Times have changed. Children are not even required to have basic math skills to graduate high school in many places. Most universities are not using ACT or SAT scores for admissions any more because they could be discriminatory with students "who dont test well". Teachers can and do push through poor students to keep graduation reates up when their funding depends on it. Schools in the US have become Mexican puppy mills in many instances.
