I dont think the US should occupy any of those countries. I do think the US should take back the Panama Canal if not treated fairly. I also believe the US should tariff Canada like none other to punish US companies for taking those jobs out of the country. Specifically automakers. Greenland can have a vote if they want. If they dont want, then I dont care.

Do you feel good about the demonstrations in the streets of Europe from Europeans protesting all the illegal immigration? Do you feel good about the protests in the streets of Europe from the other side? Is it responsible statesmanship for leaders to force these two groups to live together when they clearly do not want to? Immigration 101 requires assimilation. None of that is happening in Europe of the US.

There are discussions to be had about security in the arctic region, especially in the light of man made climate change however this is not a matter for one country and the governments of Canada and Greenland are stable parts of the western alliance. Of course they are. They are also expected to try to learn English, and blend into the community. They are not expected to not learn English, not work, sponge off the State and taxes, or try to impose their views on religion and politics on people who are citizens. No differant than my learning Polish, getting more involved in my community, and learning more about customs and politics in Poland. It would be insane to think I should expect Poles to all speak or learn English or to act American. Yet, all the leftists want European citizens to accept and blend into the illegal immigrants ways. In Europe, if I'm honest, I'm just as worried about right wing terrorism as I am about Islamic fundamentalism. I see and read of lots of young men with obsessive and often irrational views, fixated on immigration, often interested in guns and violence, feeling adrift in the modern world and left behind.

I'm concerned about immigration myself, but don't spend every waking hour thinking of it, and in Poland it's not even on my top 10 list of things that need fixing.

I'm amazed that in the US maybe 30 or 40% of the population think it is awesome that the military out on the streets to come control some minor rioting.

In Poland I have no concerns over immigration. A new bill introduced in the sejm the other day to increase time to become a citizen for foreigners on permanent residency. Poland is just fine, and will remain so as long as the left cannot take over the sejm, presidency and PM at once. If that happens, it will be another EU disaster.

Islam has no place in Europe on the scale that Brussles has allowed it to become. Germany, France and Sweden are fvcked. Some cities completely unlivable and not safe at all. No illegals should be allowed under any circumstances, and those who wont assimilate should be deported.

As for right wing demonstrations, you would see alot less if not for leftists policies in the EU. European culture should be preserved not altered to fit some vision of the WEF.

European culture of acceptance, and tolerance are great within traditional limitations. Muslims do not belong in Europe, their culture is not European and they do not want to assimilate. They should be removed is they do not learn the language and abide by the host countrys laws. Their religion and practice such as those @amiga500 mentioned have no place in any civilized society. Europe once lead the world in all facets of life, when it was European. Now the leftist globalist agenda is damaging Europe and devaluing European culture.

There are Muslim countries that develop normally. One criteria seems to be if they have Arabs or not.

Malaysia produces a good portion of the world's semiconductors.

You could argue that the Malaysians and Indonesians benefited from British and Dutch colonialism. Kazakhstan from Russian colonialism. Whereas the Arabs decayed under incompetent Turkish administration.
