What do you think about PiS` firm plans to run the election on 10 May? Do you agree it is a good move not to cancel it? Are you going to vote?

I support Konfederacja first and foremost. PiS is my second best option since the rest of political scene is just pitiful.


I'm not a follower of a "cult of a coronavirus" spread by media [and the masses] since to me it's just another variation of common flu with a similar mortality rate and far less worldwide spread.

And yes, of course that I'm going to vote in presidential elections.

The problem is that, unlike flu, it has the capability of completely overwhelming a country's healthcare system... there are other unknowns, problems but that's the main one. "It's just the flu" overlooks the fact that it's hospitalization rate is over ten times that of flu and requires lots of attention and resources...

This isn't the time to be some juvenile edgelord but to err on the side of caution...

My first and foremost political option is Konfederacja.

PiS is my second option, not because I love PiS but simply because the remaining rest [POKO, PSL, SLD] is a political cesspool. So if I couldn't have Konfederacja's candidate as a president I'll vote for a lesser evil that is PiS candidate in the second round of voting.

And yet again, you follow the PiS line rather than the Konfederacja line. Bosak already made it clear that these are no conditions for holding an election.

I think even genuine Konfederacja supporters have realised that PiS will stop at nothing to steal this election. However, a lot of people are genuinely angry about this, and Duda's electorate being older and poorer has the most to lose from this irresponsible decision.

Unfortunately for them, they will realise it when it is too late.

I've got my own brain and my own opinions. The fact that I support K.Bosak doesn't mean that I will agree with him in everything in 100% and quote uncritically everything he says. I'd leave that kind of blind cult following for POKO lemmings.

He obviously prefers a party where the slightest criticism results in being suspended from the Party. Other parties, such as Konfederacja, PO, the SLD, etc have healthy internal debate - PiS doesn't.

If we treated common flu infections, which may be also leathal especially for the elders, with the same atention that we're treating new trendy coronavirus the health system would collapse straigh away.

The reason that we don't do it is because we got used to it since flu is known to humankind since the beginning of civilization.

Amazing developments in PiS. According to Newsweek, Health Minister convinced Prime Minister the elections should be cancelled. That will make Kaczyński furious coz he is really intent on holding them.

At any cost. That is why their newest plan is to hold postal voting for everybody. hahahaha Polish Post will have a lot of work - I can see those millions of people who deal with collecting mail, opening it, counting votes etc.

It's an absurd plan, and proves that Kaczyński wants to maintain power at all costs.

Furthermore, they want to deliver the ballots without verifying people's identity or receipt. It's a guarantee of electoral fraud.

Totally agree - all the effort they are putting into this should be spent on testing, on getting more protective equipment and building extra emergency capacity

That is really amazing. He should be rather thinking about his departure and the "reward" he will get for his actions in this world. Or is his outward devotion and piety a scam to dupe Catholic voters?

Shouldn`t the Church contain PiS? I heard bishops are already worried about falling income from Sunday mass collections etc. Currently, only 5 people are allowed to atttend a mass serive in a church. If more people get infected during elections, the loss of profits for the clergy may continue for a longer time.

Bishops, time to take action! Don`t allow PiS even think of running elections! If you don`t care about believers, at least think about your pockets. .

Latest presidential election polls from ibris for onet.pl. A. Duda is dominating but what's interesting is that K.Bosak is 3rd and only 3% behind POKO candidate.
