I think that Biden will be far less toxic in international relations than Trump.

I think Biden will get along great with the EU, and Poland ruling party Pis will be placed under pressure to "behave themselves". Other than Hungary, they won't have anybody else who will have their back.

Same goes for the UK. Biden will favor good relations with the EU over those with the UK. Boris will have to reconsider the relationship he wants to have with the EU. Perhaps he shouldn't have waster so much time.

Biden is what he is, a politician a tax and spend democrat. A foreign policy experienced politician that other world leaders will respect, and Poland leaders fear. Want to keep those troops coming that Trump promised? Compromise better be coming from PiS or those go bye bye. Want to keep those Visa waivers? Better relax on your LGBTQ rhetoric. Everything PiS wanted and thought they had is now back on the negotiation table. If they see any of it go away, what will they be able to claim they accomplished?

Biden and Tusk (PiS enemy number 1) have a long relationship. Tusk will be center stage now, and that is the biggest threat to PiS's vision for Poland.

What co-operation are you talking about? Poland had no alliance or secret deals with Nazi-Germany, if anything Poland secret services were in a state of Cold War with Nazi-Germany, not to mention trade restrictions/conflicts.

If you are thinking about Tesin/Cieszyn then it happened cause of pettiness from Polish authorities, not cause of any will to co-operate with Nazi-Germany. If anything Poland was prepared to liberate Czechoslovakia from Nazi-Germany which the Czechoslovak military formations created (badly equipped however as priority was given to the Polish army, so it was more of a political move and economy of Poland at the time wasn't much to brag about even tho most of the budget went to the army)

Piłsudski was wrongly seen as an Austrian agent by many, especially the west. So many then wrongly thought of those that was his followers as pro-German. They were simply anti-Russian and anti-Soviet cause many of them lived and grew up under the tyranny of Tsarist Russia, and fought in the Polish-Soviet war.

Poland (independent and free Poland) never chose to ally herself with Nazi-Germany or Soviet Union.
