Calm down. We have regulations in Ireland regarding coverage of cases before formal charges have been made and then again when they come before the courts so as not to prejudice the jury or the defence.

If he didnt work he could not have claimed benefits so was not supported by the state. If he was claiming benefits he must have worked for a minimum of seven years.

I've told you before, in Ireland suspects are not named by the Garda Síochána until they are charged with a criminal offence. The man is still in hospital but his condition is improving and the guards should be able to formally charge him in due course.
