A Belarusian woman has been arrested

Why would they arrest her, she wasn't that harmful to Polish interests. Should be put under surveillance that could lead to something substantial in the future.

@Ironside
ABW probably wanting to make it harder for Tusk to change too much with them cause they are: " Working so hard and effective in finding threats from foreign states! Just ask the media" kind of gimmick.

Wouldn't be surprised if more and more Polish institutions gonna be working extremely hard suddenly and be very friendly with every journalist in Poland and showing best possible results everywhere they can find it. Huge opportunity to improve peoples careers if they aid current managers or bosses in making them stay in their positions with TVP as horror and nightmare example

Why would they arrest her

So her spying wouldn't be hurting the people she was spying on any longer?

Should be put under surveillance that could lead to something substantial in the future.

We don't know how long she was under surveillance and whether there was any hope for getting anything more out of this in the future.

There is something in what you saying. It's probably right.

Are we running A Club of the Good Samaritan or a Counter-Spy Agency?

you and me aren't r

The public should know and support the premises on which government agencies are supposed to act. Not some sentimentalism but pragmatism should be a guide for ABW.

You sound like a RuSSian. 🤢

ABW did their job, which is, among others, finding and arresting spies. You don't know anything about this case, so I don't understand how you can comment on it with such arrogance. 🤨

You sound like a Russian.

No, wonder that politicians of other nations or even the public take Poles for fools or brazen incompetent hypocrites, the public in Poland is so naive and their expectations are based on sentiment rather than on hard facts.

You don't need to look further than the support of Ukrianie all that sentiment backlash and all the drama, not only by the public but by politicians set to exploit it but swept by the moment participating in the emotional show.

I was just shocked.
Another reason /I didn't vote for PiS.
You sound naive or dumb take your pick. lol!

Protecting the country against Putin and Lukashenka` s guests isn`t barbarity, it is defence. Simple.

Some leftists in Poland complain that Tusk`s gov`s performance at the border is extremely disappointing coz the old policy of pushing back migrants brought by Belarus and Russia`s regimes is still continued. Those leftists have counted on open borders after the elections. Really mad. :(:(:(:(

We have no choice. If we let in 10.000, next year the regimes will bring 100.000.

Exactly. Anybody who demands free entry at the border is out of their mind.
Support our border protectors!

Activists helping refugees on the Polish-Belarusian border are dissatisfied with the activities of the services. They complain, among others: on the so-called pushbacks, i.e. pushing people who were already on Polish territory back to Belarus. Another problem is the brutality of the Border Guard.

- Those in power think that if they slightly change the language and replace "deportations" with "returns", everything will change, but it doesn't work like that. There's the same crap underneath that powder. There remains the problem of pushbacks and brutal violence at the border. Other words do not change this reality, they only distort it. The new government's announcements are nothing more than a continuation of PiS policy, says Aleksandra Chrzanowska from the Legal Intervention Association and the Granica Group in an interview with Onet.

Prime Minister Donald Tusk recently spoke at a meeting in MorÄ…g about the situation on the border. He assured that he cares about the humane treatment of migrants, but Polish territory is to be tightly protected.

- My task is to make sure pushbacks are not needed at all. They are illegal from the point of view of international law, but I will not make any decision that will make our border less tight than it is now - He added that it is not tight, but constantly strengthened. - This is a matter of the survival of our Western civilization. If we are open to all forms of migration without any control, our world will collapse. The state is responsible for guarding its border, and my government is responsible for ensuring that it is consistent with humanitarian principles, concluded the politician.

Activists helping refugees on the Polish-Belarusian border

Should be put in jail. Jail time for people working for Putin and against Poland.
