Poland's aid to Ukraine if Russia invades - part 22

I no longer trust Putin to make rational decisions

Putin surely understands, that the best way to guarantee Russia has an absolutely sh*t 21st century - is by starting World War III with an attack on NATO.

Russia has suffered too much, for far too long, to plunge itself back into hell. We need time to recover, and live as a normal country - if even for a short while.

A war like that, I don't think even Russia can ever recover from. It will have absolutely unpredictable consequences, and will almost certainly suck in every single other industrialized country on the planet. I am sure neither Russians, nor Europeans, nor Americans would pay any attention to jurisdiction or borders when it came to hurting each other. Whether a facility is located in Brazil, or in India, or in China - it would represent a legitimate target if working for the benefit of the enemy.

Putin surely understands,

Well....we know it....as you said, hopefully Putin knows it too....there still is the small matter of the Ukraine war to be solved in a way everybody can live with (not at least the Ukrainians).

As it seems now our biggest hope, Trump and his unconventional way of policy making, isn't working as expected...there is not much left to try for us...

Bingo!

This story is far from over, and it still retains the potential to blow up in everyone's face fantastically - not least because a desperate Ukraine may start to do desperate things.

Trump is unpredictable. He may look like a dove in comparison to Biden now, but he also could easily do a 180 and escalate the war to a level Biden never dared to approach. Risking looking like he had his bluff called - Putin could very well pull out all the stops to instead make Trump back down.

A showdown between Trump and Putin on the subject of "who has bigger balls" - will be a great gift to the world, surely. Because these two people are known for making all their decisions with cold and logical calculation. Its consequences will also be only flowers and candies for all - I'm sure.

Yeah....I get the popcorn...

I would love to get an ear in with these personal one-on-one telephone calls between those two!

You think Brazil or China or India give two ***** about keeping Putler in power in North Nigeria ?

You think Brazil or China or India

I think if they were helping Russia with something, and then the United States sanctioned them for it, or better yet - destroyed the facilities (remember, we are talking about an ongoing war between the US and Russia) - that this would incline them towards assisting Russia even more, with all the means at their disposal.

If America can bomb your country whenever it feels like it, like Israel bombs Iran, or the way the CIA killed Bin Laden in Pakistan.... It leaves a very bad taste in the mouth.

China ..,,, give two ***** about keeping Putler in power in North Nigeria ?

For China the only benefit is stability. If there's a successor they like, they'll run with them.

If America can bomb

We bomb for "freedom and democracy" so it's OK.

You bomb to liberate Russia and to protect Russians so it's not OK - unless approved by those who bomb for "freedom and democracy".

I am absolutely convinced that mockery is the best forum weapon. I mocked that "freedom and democracy" so much that nobody claims these two as good reasons to fight for and die.

It's always the other guys who should do it.

Have a nice day dealing with morons, Bobko...

Its consequences will also be only flowers and candies for all - I'm sure.

Candles?

Only 3 explanations are possible

4-th one: Putin don't GAF to meet some professional dick piano player that is not a president anymore for about a year.

not a president anymore for about a year.

russia really, really REALLY wants to target voting stations... all those civilians in one place, russia's idea of a perfect target... not as good as a children's hospital but pretty good

I am so proud of Putin...For the lives lost and money spent, he wants tangible benefits.

buffer zone

disarmed Ukraine

Russia-friendly regime in Kiev

No NATO in Ukraine

Only the US can liberate Kuwait and get shlt for it while watching the sons of Kuwaiti ruling class safely return from discos in Paris.

russia really, really REALLY wants to target voting stations

You bomb the enemy wherever they are.

A civilian is a soldier who left his rifle at the base.

NATO nation trying to 'bleed Russia dry' - Moscow
Denmark is fueling the hostilities with arms, sanctions, and inflammatory rhetoric instead of backing peace efforts, Russian envoy Vladimir Barbin has said

Denmark, a little shlthole the size of Cook County, is so brave for only two reasons:

(1) Russia doesn't give a fvck about Denmark and (2) Denmark is under US skirt where it's safe and warm.

THAT is the trouble with NATO: PipSqueak nations are emboldened to make trouble knowing that Article 5 will force the US to fight any wars they create.

An analogy would be the bankers in 2008 who took extreme risks knowing the US government would bail them out if their gambles went bad.

I hate NATO. Useless and expensive...

They have Greenland

And are part of the EU.

Putin don't GAF to meet some professional dick piano player that is not a president anymore for about a year

You probably mean a lawyer who built up a successful TV production company with offices in four countries who is very much a president. Such a contrast to Putler, a KGB office monkey and former taxi driver.

Where is he? Why hasn't he been seen except on film footage controlled by his own people, since last year?

Dick piano player in action

@Velund
Yep, that was a great show, and he also won Dancing With The Stars. And wrote, produced and starred in a hugely popular sitcom. This is to his great credit

And set up a highly successful production company from scratch. And he's also a lawyer.

Such a contrast to a pen pushing spook and former taxi driver, promoted above his level due to viciousness and compliance.

President Zelenskyy is a person of many talents. Putler is a person with many doubles.

Where is Putler by the way?

Where is he? Why hasn't he been seen except on film footage controlled by his own people, since last year?

Hullo?

Russian alert in the Baltic Sea!

As the German frigate "Bayern" entered Rostock on Monday, a gray giant appeared in the distance: the Russian destroyer "Vice-Admiral Kulakov." No coincidence! It had followed the "Bayern" into the Baltic Sea.

bild.de/politik/ausland-und-internationales/in-der-ostsee-russen-fregatte-lauert-auf-deutsches-marineschiff-6836cd071572f10f9457d372

Pursuit over hundreds of nautical miles

It began in the North Atlantic: The "Bayern" was practicing there with the German submarine "U 33" and other NATO units, as the "Kieler Nachrichten" reports. At the same time, two Russian destroyers - the "Severomorsk" and the "Vice-Admiral Kulakov" - set out from the Kola Fjord for an anti-submarine maneuver.

However, after the maneuver, the "Kulakov" turned away and headed for the "Bayern." The pursuit continued south along the Norwegian coast. The "Bayern" crew was informed about the heavily armed Russian destroyer. From Skagen, the Danish frigate "Iver Huitfeld" followed the Russian ship and followed it to the Great Belt.

German government alarmed

The new coalition government is concerned about the pursuit. Christoph Ploß (39), Maritime Coordinator of the German Federal Government, told BILD: "The incident shows that we must also protect our ports as quickly as possible against the increasing Russian threats - including by protecting infrastructure, investing more in cybersecurity, and converting bridges for tanks." The German government will ensure the necessary investments....

Somebody else getting this Cold War feeling? I guess that should be seen as a little "warning", following the recent decisions in the EU and in Berlin....

Putin surely understands,

Well I fully agreed with that statement before invasion of Ukraine. I personally thought Putin was smarter and was playing his compatriots to stay in power while holding Crimea as a negotiating card to be able to finally enter E.U and force himself into NATO diplomatically by showing he can let go for a price (heavy one). I personally thought he was almost a genius not to be underestimated. Europeans were scared shitless before Ukraine.

Now the dices have been cast, and what did Putin gain? A bloody sucky war that makes Russia and Ukraine lose tax paying citizens instead of gaining more he is too afraid to end cause he doesn't want to go to jail or lose power in Russia.

He should start planning a early retirement, a deal before he dies about securing his family's future, yet what does he do?!

I was just lost for words

That was not nice...

As a reminder...Google Dresden, Hiroshima, and Nagasaki and tell me again that killing civilians is a war crime.

That was not nice...

It wasn't supposed to be.

Dresden, Hiroshima, and Nagasaki

But you see, that was almost a century ago. The world has moved on since then. The entire civilised world has been in agreement that in the 21st century the right and proper areas to conduct wars are places like Africa, Middle East or some various asian Kurvistans. Europe, North America and Japan, on the other hand, are places to enjoy art, attend the opera, and build your prosperity. It's really as simple as that.

Putin, in his madness, started a full-scale war in the middle of Europe in the 21st century, and this is not only a war crime - this is a faux pas. Hence the International Criminal Court very rightly declared him a bandit, a criminal, a gangster, and a tactless swine.
