Poland's aid to Ukraine if Russia invades - part 19

I agree the US and UK are the two most influential on getting Ukraine into this war

russia invaded, it wasn't tricked or forced into invading, one man, vladimir vladimirovich putain decided to invade and 140 people supported him
(that's how things happen in russia)

Supporting Ukraine in my opinion is wanting them to exist a year from now and ending the killing.

no 'cease fire' will do that, only security guarantees.... russia has to believe that if it crosses the Ukraine border it's going to endure a world of pain.... russia doesn't honor agreements, if the plan has no teeth then you're just allowing russia to build up and attack again... and then what?

Z was made to look like a fool.

Haven't you ever been a wrestling fan? Don't you recognize kayfabe when you see it? Both sides got what they wanted:

Trump: gets to say he tried but that peace can't be easily achieved

Ukraine gets to defend itself on its own terms without accepting a phony 'ceasefire' or relenquishing lands with no guarantees in return...

No. There is no continuity requirement for any administration to honor anything any prior administration committed to.

Brilliant. So, instead of paying any war reparations (or repaying loans), for example, a country should just elect a different government and stop paying. Indeed why keep any obligations of any previous government? You are a true genius of international legal order, PolAm.

This is the way NATO expanded eastward from Germany. ;)

Just like written in a "Malleus Maleficārum" - The investigating inquisitor can promise the suspect to keep her alive, and this will not impose any obligation on the inquisitor who will be the judge and sentence the suspect to death. ;)

Not really. Unless there is a proof of any such obligations from NATO that the eastward expansion will not happen. Do you have any links? Any documents? Videos? Anything? Both you and I know that there isn't any such proof.

The investigating inquisitor can promise the suspect to keep her alive, and this will not impose any obligation on the inquisitor who will be the judge and sentence the suspect to death.

Sounds like the current US policy towards Ukraine. :)

It's really hard to understand Zelensky's behavior, other than that he had not slept or was on some kinda drugs.

what-gorbachev-heard

That's what I thought. Informal talks, gossip and hearsay. The conversation between Baker and Gorbachev took place in February 1990. Gorbachev himself acknowledged in later interviews that the topic of NATO expansion beyond Germany was not discussed in detail at the time, as no one anticipated the rapid dissolution of the USSR or the Warsaw Pact (which occurred in 1991).

Is that all you've got, Veli? No official NATO document that contains a legally binding commitment not to expand eastward? No agreement? No deal? No joint statement? Nothing? Oh, well...

It totally exists..... it's locked in a biolab sitting over a bunch of rare earth minerals.....

A disrespectful man thought he was an equal to the president of the United States

I didn't know that one president behaving like an equal to another president is "disrespectful" :))))

and thought he could say what ever he wanted

So nowadays telling the truth is banned in the Oval Office?? :))))

Trump and Vance never provoked Zelensky.

Of course they did. During that meeting in the Oval Office Trump and Vance were behaving in a provocative and disrespectful manner. The only question is if they did it on purpose or unconsciously, because they're that clueless and unprofessional.

Oh, so there is no legal continuity between the USA under Biden's administration and under the current one?

This is exactly how RuSSia behaves and that's why we have this war.

Russia absolutely have right to make sure Slavic world isn`t ruled by strangers. Every single corner of the Slavic world.

I can`t imagine Anglos could be happy with foreign rule in their core lands. So they resisted. Most of them.

Do you understand now?

And Slavs resist. Most of them. Now, Russians are fist of it.

That is why, in a bottom line, Trump changing the USA policy on Russians ie Slavs. Deeply, he understands where are borders of civilizations. The driving force of humanity. Diversity of humanity.

There, destines of particular countries becoming irrelevant. Absolutely irrelevant.

A disrespectful man thought he was an equal to the president of the United States and thought he could say what ever he wanted, and was then asked to leave.

This strengthened Trump's control over the Republicans.

Trump's biggest opponent, a Russophobe and Ukrainophile among Republicans expresses his pride in President Trump and because of Zelensky's disgraceful behavior and his insulting the USA, he asks him to resign immediately!

The only question is if they did it on purpose or unconsciously, because they're that clueless and unprofessional.

You know what, maybe this was all an organized play to screw Zelensky to the end?

Zelensky in talk with Trump, in the USA, is same level of madness as if President of Canada travel to Moscow to talk to Putin about destine of the USA.

So imagine level of imbecility of the EU when refusing to understand this.

Think of the horror of their mindset.

Of course that Russia won`t hesitate to use all its nukes to protect itself and other Slavs from that malignous foreign influence. Trump knows this and understand this, so he tries to calm situation, tries to reason the imbeciles.

Obviously..... Trump and Zelenskyy are both professional performers and played their parts well... Vance was a bit clumsy (as was the Polish journalist that asked the question that set off the argument).

Anthem of the Nemanjic noble house to St. Sava in the Vatican these days told it all.

No foreign priests shall walk Slavic world. Not from the Constantinople, not from the Rome, not from anywhere. In soul and in body, our world is our world.

We cooperate yes, but we are not servants to anybody.

How does Europe lack the capability to support Ukraine.

In terms of military equipment, I'm afraid...

I take back my words from this morning that it was a cruel humiliation from Trump.

I see you snapped out of being a normal human being and went back to being a Putinist propagandist really fast :)))) I knew you would do that.

It's really hard to understand Zelensky's behavior

Of course it isn't ;D Trump and Vance were talking vile bullsh1t right in front of him. I'm surprised that he was holding himself back as long as he did. I would be at the end of my tether too.

The thing is that he probably thought that he should behave like Macron and do the public fact-checking to Trump and Vance like Macron did to Trump. The problem is that Zelensky and Ukraine don't have the same position in the food chain, so to speak, as Macron and France do and Ukraine needs the US much more than France does. So Macron can allow himself to do that while Zelensky apparently isn't "allowed". Trump and Vance are vile people, but it often happens that you have to talk to vile people to save your country and your people.

I honestly feel sorry for Zelensky. I'd be exhausted if I had to deal with such crap at the top of leading a war effort. But that's the president's job - you have to clench your teeth and do what's best for your country and your people. There's nothing more important for a president to do.

Presumably you are an Anglo woman... If you just for a moment can imagine papal acolyte command in London and dictate his terms, you would understand this Slavic moment. If you fail to understand this then you are completely lost.

Trump understand this and he feels obvious repugnance and disgust for Zelenski.

So Macron can allow himself to do that while Zelensky apparently isn't "allowed".

There's such a saying in Poland: "Co wolno wojewodzie to nie tobie smrodzie". It's sad, morally wrong and humiliating, but that's the reality of this world, unfortunately.

Presumably you are an Anglo woman... (...) you would understand this Slavic moment.

I'm Polish and more Slavic than you. You're just a RuSSia's ass wipe.

Not about it Serbian general genotype.

Let us be frank. We Serbians live in a center of Europe, in a heat of activity and interests. We had and have many influences. Turks were one episodic visitors. Poorest one at it. God knows how many wanted to rule us, but still we are Serbians, tallest and most robust Whites. And most intelligent. Plus, nicest. Sarmatian finest.

We Serbians love Poles and all Slavs on the periphery but, it is periphery of our civilization. Rural area.

Poles are generally more Slavic than Serbs.

All Slavs originate from Serbians. That is what science say.

To no one, you creepy rape-fantasist

Not truth. Polish girls jump willingly on Serbs. I never heard of rape.
