Will PiS be happy if AfD wins elections in Germany?

Please define "Americans" for us, Rich!
Am dying to hear your answer.

Please define "Americans" for us,

An American is a hyphen-free person who is 100% loyal to the United States and to the exclusion of all other countries, tribes, and ethnic minorities... and whose daily language is American English.

Notice that I didn't mention anything about US citizenship as totally irrelevant since spies and terrorists can get it easily.

BTW, if you want to die, die for another reason.

Also, an American knows the meaning of "black widow". It's a not a black woman whose husband got shot and died.

"Hyphen-free" would then mean anyone of Native American extraction,
since the so-called "Indians" arrived on this continent before anybody else....
including the Vikings, Celts or any white Europeans!!

A "black widow" is indeed a variety of poisonous spider.

Ask a Cherokee if he has a hyphen.

You're missing the point here, Rich!

Native Americans are the only true Americans,
as all others were by definition immigrants to this country.
After all, when everyone from Columbus to Miles Standish
first landed on our shores, it was the aboriginal inhabitants of
the American mainland who were there to greet them.

Europe as well as much of Asia, e.g China or Japan, have a far different
history, that of a far more historically homogeneous ethnicity than
the US.

Native Americans are the only true Americans,

Cherokees are not Americans. They are Cherokees.

They live in "America" and may have US passports but they are still Cherokees and don't need any stupid hyphens.

Did Columbus land there?

On present-day Hispaniola he sure did! Her was met by the Caribs.

That's not exactly your 'shores', though, is it....

Hispaniola

Isn't that Haiti and the Dominican Republic?

Yes, that's right!
The Caribs were a head shrinking tribe.

Haiti and the Dominican Republic?

Yeah... Colombus never set foot on land that became the US (AFAIK)

On the other hand, America, like many words is polysemous (has more than one meaning). These come from the primary meanings in English and Spanish the two most spoken languages in the New World.

In NAmerican English it usually refers to the US (occasionally found in Spanish as well).

In Spanish, América normally refers to the entirely of the North and South American continents.... This can also found in English at times.

So Colombus discovered América (as in was the first European to open up the New World land mass for European settlement). Random Viking or Polynesian (or other Asian) or even Basque(?!) visits didn't result in anything lasting.

One report from the period records an incident that not long after Columbus landed on Hispaniola,
his Basque mate greeted some of the natives they encountered in his native language and it is
claimed the natives understood him!

As with many a doubtless apocryphal tale, plenty of good stories have been ruined by oververification.

There may have been sailors back and to.

There was also a theory that a Welsh Prince went there and went native (is it the Mandan tribe?) however DNA evidence doesn't bear that out and the 19th century linguistic comparisons were wishful thinking.

Apparently there's a tantalising letter either to or from Columbus' brother (who lived in Bristol) that some say suggests they knew there was a land mass to the west.

Does the name really come from America Vespucci or could it have existed before coming from Armorica?

An intriguing hypothesis, however as with the once posited theory of Atlantis, it
remained mere conjecture for which no concrete evidence exists to this day.

Atlantis

Probably a Greek Island in an earthquake zone whose name and bits of history turned into metaphor. At least that's one hypothesis.

Still waiting for an explanation why AfD is bad for Germany.

Hey, Tacitus, do you know?

AfD is bad for Germany.

AfD is the successor of the NPD on the German political scene, that is enough of an argument.

That was a Great Plains group, centered around modern North Dakota... a long way to go (and a lot of tribes to get through) to get there.

Does the name really come from America Vespucci

Amerigo --- Latinized to Americus then fem adjective america and the rest is, as they say.... history.

coming from Armorica?

That's a stretch...

An interesting one though.

There are a few early medieval European legends about land to the west.

I have no doubt that various Europeans (and others) occasionally made it to the new world and then made it back to where they came from... vikings surely did, maybe some scattered celts, maybe some basques (at one point they had been to Iceland enough that a Basque/Icelandic pidgin appeared... dudes got around).

@Rich,
Clearly trolling again, are we. Anyway, perhaps I/we can drum some sense into your thick skull!
The AfD wants to cancel ALL Holocaust education from German school curricula, ideally
deport all non-white, Third World migrants, even second or third generation Turkish-Germans
and others, the more extreme among the Alternative founders (including the late Alexander Gauland,
a Le Pen supporter) desire a "return" of erstwhile German territory seized by neighboring Poland and
Czech Republic following Germany's defeat in WWII.

Each mighty convinciing reasons, I'd say. You'd probably disagree, only to be the eternal contrarian.
Even Trump only wishes to deport known criminals or drug dealers. Hoecke, Weidel, Gideon et al
consider ANY non-ethnic Germans to be a threat to Germany society, criminal background or not
and herein lies the true horror.

Hoecke, Weidel, Gideon et al consider ANY non-ethnic Germans to be a threat to Germany society,

...and they are right as long as there is no referendum where 75% of real Germans would vote for foreign scum to settle in Germany.

Without that referendum, Germany today is as totalitarian as it was under Hitler. He wouldn't let a referendum get in his way, either.

At least the man was honest and didn't call his Germany a democracy.

Even Trump only wishes to deport known criminals or drug dealers.

You are lying. He wants to get rid of all of these motherfvckers based on a priority list. Felons first. They are all criminals because they came here illegally.

I have a question: How many illegal aliens would be too many in your opinion?

If you don't answer with a number, you are gone.

I doubt Norway, Sweden, and Finland would agree

That is not socialism; those are countries built on the idea of a nation, and hence they promote solidarity and charity among the members of their own nation. Then, stupid Marxists come in and spoil it for everyone, as we can see in Sweden.
Also, Marxism as a philosophy states that Jews are at the bottom of all evil capitalist practices. Why don't Marxists preach anti-Semitism as Marxists?

No 'charity', simply sensible use of resources and reining in the excesses of capitalism, countries where 'investors' are not able to make excess 'profit' from other people's work, or asset strip public infrastructure.

Basically Socialism. You shouldn't confuse that with Marxian economics though...

Marxism as a philosophy states that Jews are at the bottom of all evil capitalist practices

No it doesn't. Go and make a nice cup of tea, clear your head and stop making up silly lies.

Indeed, Marxists came and screwed the idea for everyone with their dumb ideological nonsense.

What 'unedited material'? If something's unpublished, it cannot be called relevant.

Go and have a nice cup of tea.

@Rich,
For better or worse, the US thrives on immigration, however, LEGAL immigration.
You have to face facts that the AfD is simply Nazism rearing its ugly head....once again.
You'd think the Germans would have learned by this point, although thankfully, the AfD
is only a minority, albeit a vocal minority.

Statistically, I'd have to look at a nation's budget.
I just can't make flip statements!
