Polish castle to be demolished?

Some new twists in the scandal of the new "castle" in the heavily protected Notecka forest. So far, seven people involved have been detained and questioned, people are under investigation and their have been legal judgements on both sides.

This has been running and running for a few years. If there has been corruption on the part of public officials (this has been investigated however I don't know the outcome) there need to be prosecutions, however I genuinely can't decide if it should be demolished or not.

It's a hot topic and there is a lot online about it.

Apparently there are supposed to be 40 luxury flats, a staff of 10 and a 90 metre ballroom for parties.

Why would they do that? On the other hand, everything gets commercialized in Poland and the "history" value tag is not as high as it used to be.

Lack of planning permission probably.

Personally I'd let the building stay under strict conditions, although it shouldn't have been built there in the first place.

Yes, they should include this complex on the list of monuments. Then it would not be allowed to demolish it and it could continue to be built. After all, Sagrada Familia also took over 100 years to build.
