Americans incite hatred towards Russia in Polish media

The US has been sending boatloads of money to China

Well, yes. It was done because the US thought that when the Chinese become powerful enough and wealthy enough, they will turn into Americans.

Turns out they're still Chinese.

So now that America noticed her mistake, China is a mortal (or even the mortalest) enemy. Keep up to date, Novi.

Keep up to date, Novi.

I do. Playing stupid is one of my favorite debating techniques.

To counter your point...America didn't notice anything because importing stuff from China removes all guilt connected with pollution, global warming, and all that green crap.

And it's still profitable. If the US can trade with Russia - a country the US is taunting into WW3 - trading with "hostile" China is perfectly excusable.

This way the US is double happy...It makes money from Chinese imports and can bullsh*it US taxpayers into spending more on "national defense". Those scary Chinese...

Excellent news. Sanctions are working, though slowly. Russian economy is steadily heading to collapse.

businessinsider.com.pl/gospodarka/rubel-szoruje-po-dnie-a-to-nie-koniec-problemow-moskwy-gospodarka-rosji-sie-zwija/tz5hw7s

- Russia's GDP shrank by more than 2% in 2022. and will contract again this year.
- The value of the ruble is falling sharply, the USD/RUB exchange rate has approached the level of 100 in recent days and is the highest for several months.

-official reserves of Central Bank are falling - they rescue the ruble from complete disaster
-revenues from export of gas and oil dropped sharply - by 47%
- Russia's budget deficit in January-May reached $42 billion, which means 117 percent of GDP. plan for the whole of 2023.

If you`re happy and you know it, clap your hands!! Clap! Clap! hahahaha

@pawian

A weakening ruble is great for the Kremlin.

It means the budget makes the same amount of money, even if commodity prices (which are in USD) go lower.

This, in turn, reduces the deficit.

It makes it easy to pay off Ruble-denominated debts, because as a country we mostly earn in foreign currency.

A weakening ruble is bad for Russians that:

1) Like to buy imported things

2) Like to vacation abroad

3) Have a business arrangement, where they owe someone foreign currency, while they are earning in rubles.

For Putin, a weakening ruble is the fastest way to close the gap on the budget deficit. We sell oil, gas, metals for dollars, euro, yuan, but have to pay pensions and state salaries in rubles. So if every dollar from oil exports, now brings 100 rubles instead of 70 - that's quite convenient.

1) Like to buy imported things

Most city dwellers in Russia. And some in the countryside. That`s a few dozen million. :):):)

2) Like to vacation abroad

Roughly speaking, abouit 20 million.

A weakening ruble is great for the Kremlin.

So why is the Central Bank of Russia spending billions to save the ruble??? :):):) 50 billion $ last year.

50 billion $ last year

$50B is not a lot for the CBR. It could do that for 8 years in a row, and still have money left. It has to smooth out the curves, to prevent excess volatility.

Sanctions might last 8 years or longer, I don`t mind. hahaha

A weakening ruble is bad for Russians that: 1) Like to buy imported things

You forgot to mention companies which need a huge import of goods for their production. Right now Russians are evading sanctions to certain degree and buy necessary Western stuff in neighbouring countries like Kazachstan or Armenia which haven`t been sanctioned. Certainly a weak ruble doesn`t make it easy. :):):)

If Cuba can live with US sanctions till now, Russia can, too.
In fact, those sanctions will make local companies prosper and force Russia to make what it used to buy. Like those "chips" from the stolen washing machines.

A weakening ruble is great for the Kremlin.

Good point. A strong currency can be deadly - unless you are a tourist.

And you call it life?? Do you want to move there??? Novi in Cuban paradise hahahaha buhahaha At last you will be driving a car that other posters here will envy . hahaha buhahahaha nie mogÄ™.....

Like those "chips" from the stolen washing machines.

Call Intel and ask them what it takes to build a chip factory. :It isn`t only money, they need extremely sophisticated machinery. Do you think Russians will start producing this machinery in their tank factories??? hahahaha ):):)

American incited Polish media provide the following:
biznes.wprost.pl/gospodarka/11344981/rubel-szoruje-po-dnie-rosja-probuje-ratowac-swoja-walute.html

At the beginning of the week, the ruble approached 100 to the dollar, which means that it has fallen by 25 percent over the year. The Russian Central Bank is trying to save its own currency, so on Thursday it decided to suspend purchases of foreign currencies to stabilize the exchange rate. The move by the central bank should help strengthen the ruble, because when the bank spends rubles to buy foreign currency, it increases the supply of rubles in circulation, lowering their value.

A weakening ruble is great for the Kremlin.

:):):) But apparently not so good for the Central Bank of Russia hahahaha
