Have to agree with you PP. It's not naive, it's fact. It starts from a very young age. Assumptions are made that a pretty/handsome face = better person..

It's starts early and shapes their personalities, their mentalities. Everything. They become the family favorites. They become the ones who expect to get their way. The go getters who have the confidence to go after what they want. It's a scientific fact the better looking the person the more money they make, the better their lifestyle, etc.

I'm not to sure about that. You can't just say cos someone is good looking they have easier lives. Sometimes good-looks can hinder a persons progress in life. With people assuming that just because they are beautiful, they know ****.

I see plenty of good looking people going to college and plenty of ugly people working as cashiers at wal mart, lol. I sure don't see good looking people working there.

I don't have a problem at all with good looking people. I am just observing reality and what goes on. The good looking ones who are well groomed, clean, wearing decent clothing get farther in life.

Lower grades don't have as much to do with success later in life. A beautiful woman can get a good job later on people want to do her favors, help her out while ugly ones no one cares as much about.

Character matters but if you are ugly with a good character people take you for granted more or don't care. Something has to allow you to get your foot in the door and that something is often the way you look at a job interview or when someone sees you for the first time. That's more important to people. They want good character and physically attractive too.


Exactly. PR is what most women do well anyway. Their beauty facillitates their PR skills. It's easier for an attractive woman because people see her and they want to talk to her and get to know her better. She needs a good personality to go along with it but the physical appearance is what people see first. It's the first conclusion they reach about a person. They see someone (especially if this someone is a woman) she is ...ugly, pretty, fat, thin, gorgeous, etc. Some people have a prejudice against unattractive people and they don't want to talk to them, be seen with them, get to know them, listen to their point of view.

Sorry, many people in boxing PR ain't pretty. Look at Don King. He stands out and that gets him far. He has that frizzy hairdo thing going on and his uniqueness helps. OK, people see appearance but people can also see through the facade and superficiality. If the person ain't up to the task, business people won't give them the time of day.

PP, this is about Poland. Many Poles look good but scramble for cash, relying on tips to make ends meet. They are not well paid for the most part and live in an expensive country relative to salaries.
