People act according to the level of intoxication. The last place to visit in Poland is pijalnia wódki.
Are Poles typically nasty people?
Is that anywhere near Zakopane? -:)

my pal from work Romek .... I never knew him to get plastered!
hmm, the fact that he doesn`t drink might be used against him. In communist times non-drinkers were often viewed as informers - snitches. Quite nasty people. Those old traditions still have their repercussions today. So, we have a dillemma - to drink and be nasty in result or not to drink but still be nasty???

And quite rightly so, I don't trust teetotalers.
If you are not prepared to let your guard down after a few drinks, then you have probably got something to hide.
Good Polish logic.
Plus it gets a few more drinks in....... LOL!!!!
95% of bad things happen at 2 am while drunk.
Don't get drunk and get into bed before midnight.
Problem solved :-)

Over the years, I noticed that it's impossible to have a normal conversation with drunks and religious nuts.
t 2 am while drunk.
If you're out at 2am, you're either looking for trouble or trouble is looking for you.
Words of wisdom from the old man.

Well stated. I wish every woman would follow this rule. In 90% of cases when a woman is raped and murdered, it always starts with: 2 am, drunk, and trusting.
@Paw & Milo, this apparent distrust reminds me some of stories I once heard from old GDR times of extra quiet folks at pub crawls. People figured they must be informers!
