Covid vaccination for foreigners in Poland?

Once covid vaccinations start in Poland (should be sometime in January?), is there any information about the possibility of getting vaccinated as a foreigner (no residence permit, just a visitor)? It might involve a fee but I just wonder if it would be possible at all.

Nope. I don`t need one. I am under special protection anyway and no artificial preventive measures are necessary in my case. The :Polish saying: złego diabli nie biorą perfectly applies to me. hahahahaha

I think it probably will be available privately some time in late spring - maybe a Chinese or Indian version. - that's just my feeling though, no official information about that,

I wouldn't be surprised if the vaccines start appearing through back channels. If the reports are true that only 20% of medics signed up for it, then there's going to be a considerable amount of vaccines available.

Yes, they are true. Most people I talk to are sceptical about getting it. The government will have to make vaccinations mandatory.

Most Poles are skeptical of microwave ovens and electric can openers, so a vaccine must be another one of those "no good" American inventions. haha


Please dont go for this black market vaccine, its fake and could do serious damage to your health.

I'd be guessing that if demand from Polish citizens doesn't exceed supply they would allow foreigners to get vaccinated (for a fee) pretty quickly (maybe a few weeks in).

Kind of waiting for an official statement about this though.

All Poles can sign up to vaccinate starting mid January, according to the article. Still no explicit mention of foreigners.

The latest scandal - group O, ie. medical staff, gets vaccinated first. Yet, some politicians or celebrities already boast of getting it. Some people feel indignant about it.

They will be giving the vaccine to foreigners in the final group if they are legal permanent or temporary residents.

Not only. As usual, PiS government is late and they arranged a campaign of promoting the advantages of vaccination but for mid January. Intelligent people among medical staff know it is too late and they started their own campaign now. A few dozen celebrities can already advertise the cause by boasting of being vaxed. PiS is furious as usual coz sb thinks faster and better than those rightards.

I just got a text from renowned plastic surgeon who got the first jab with his political honcho,hope I can get it next week when i am there too.Fug everyone.And its not that cpl 100 who jumped the line numbers are in thousands and they all now have a guarantee to get the second shot as well.

You can ask the plastic Surgeon to collect on your behalf: since you're going there anyway. Can pay in USD. But wire money to someone I never seen before taking the vaccine?

According to Polskie Radio, the official government stance is that anyone with a residence card can vaccinate according to his medical priority group. There is no need to be a 'citizen'. If you are just a visitor without a residence card, at the moment you cannot get the jab in Poland.

Hi guys, i'm due to arrive in Krakow in 2 days from the UK and will stay until end of the month.

Apparently I will need to get a PCR/LAMP test 72 hours before travelling back to the UK.

Does anyone know the price & locations to do this test in the centre of Krakow? I can't seem to find any. The close place looks to be quite far away.

Is there a good chance this test will soon not be required? I don't *need* to return asap and i could stay up to 3 months to see if the rules change from the UK govt side.
